Hi there do you know where I could get a cheap seals set or the seals for the pump I live in Wiltshire as I have a Tilley lamp I've only used it once but it is second hand. The first time I fired it up it kept popping because the seal was letting all the pressure out, at the moment we've turned the seal over and screwed the pump doe n tight so we are good for a while. That video is great my dad has one so I bought 1 about a year after. I wish I could do a video but I'm not very good at it I've
@AntiMediaZombie I believe the US version is the Coleman lanterns. Cant speak for their reliability but if they are any thing like the tilleys you have nothing to fear. These lamps are awesome. Just bought another one to be honest. I now own four of the lovely old lady's...........well actually two............as two of them are ''younger'' models.
@ZS6JMP Coleman lanterns are very reliable. They use their own fuel (a variation on gasoline). I prefer to burn parafin/kerosine since it produces less carbon monoxide. I am VERY envious of Tilley lanterns, but they are almost impossible to get in the United States.
Very good seems much easier to light with the gas rather than the meths wick provided.

@tincoffin Cant really speak for the meths pre heater as I dont have one. The gas however works well and is convenient.
