My favourite commercial aircraft. Great crusing altitude, QUIET and no ETOPS confinement! Fly over anything, fly anywhere (except N.Korea and Iraq haha). BIrd strike - no problem, double engine burn out no problem. Getting restless in the cockpit, need some exercise? - No problem, 5 x 100m sprint intervals in the aisles. Haha.

I an fan of the A340 500 and 600. This is how an A340 should be built, not like the 200 and 300 models. To me A340 500 and 600 is a modern classic. They like a hybrid of an A300 and DC8, they have an A300 look with an A300 engine size, but they have four engines spaced out engines likes the DC8.

I agree with your first statement. LH 340-600 is definately one in the top group. But I can't glorify an airline that managed to change the scheduled 340-600 to a cocksucking a340-300 on a 12 hour long flight to Singapore. It is like being kicked outta' haven and sent to hell!

The a340-600 is the best. The longest flights currently are done by that aircraft and the a340-500.

i think the airbus 340-600 can carry around 280 people. if u compard boieng 777-300er can carry more passenger around 320 people.

No, you are way out. The Airbus can carry a maximum of 440 people.

But the Boeing can carry 550 people maximum.

BUT don't forget, Boeing uses BRITISH engines :)
