I have gsxr 750 with Hr1 exhaust since 2007 and my tire still looks new. also my 06 dodge viper never melting its own tires from poor exhaust.

Ah someone already mentioned tire heat damage.... Good catch. I was wondering the same thing. Exhausts can get REALLY hot.

not if its carbon fiber. i can still put my hands on the exhaust muffler after a good hard ride and it still isnt hot.

Thanks, the fender's been gone for a while now. This video is really old. The exhaust is gone too. I have the akrapovic shorty hex now.

that seems like it would do heat damage to the tires?

yes. thats what I was worried about at first, but the manufacture sent me an adapter which pushes the exhaust pipe away from the tire.

sounds nice , but 1000 is the way to go , that exhaust sounds so much better on a 1000 , dont wast yur time with a 600
