He did this despite the fact that Tech's recruiting did not compare to UT, OU, or A&M. Tech went to a bowl game every year during his tenure, which is more than any other school in the Big 12 can say.

Leach was a great coach at Tech. If this is in response to Adam's performance after a concussion, then the coaches behavior is out of line, but not abnormal. Injured players, remember football coaches aren't doctors, react differently to injuries. Its the coaches job to get the most out of his players. Sometimes that means helping them to stop favoring their injuries. The players lack of eye contact is disrespectful here. The interaction with the player probably started like that, and escalated as a result.
When you hear a coach tell a player that he's not making an effort, that is as bad as it gets. The last thing you want your coach yapping you for is that your lazy and not trying. You may not have the athletic ability as others but that doesn't mean you can't give it all that you've got. And coaches know all this, and so Leech was giving AJ the worst insult you can give a player and it was probably justified. Coaches don't say these things arbitrarily...
I really shouldnt expect much from tech fans, but for you to defend this idiot that makes your school look so HORRIBLE just goes to show how shit your fan base is.

Leach was a great coach at Tech. The little james kid was notorious for being lazy and cocky and finally leach had enough. im fine with it. if he acts like a douche on a consistent basis then he probably deserved it. tuberville is 180 degrees differet from leach. leachs system is in effect and thats what will win at TTU. not SEC have every game be 13-3 like auburn. and why did little james have a cell phone in the first place? somethins not right there.

If this is in response to Adam's performance after a concussion, then the coaches behavior is out of line, but not abnormal. Injured players, remember football coaches aren't doctors, react differently to injuries. Its the coaches job to get the most out of his players. Sometimes that means helping them to stop favoring their injuries. The players lack of eye contact is disrespectful here. The interaction with the player probably started like that, and escalated as a result.

When you hear a coach tell a player that he's not making an effort, that is as bad as it gets. The last thing you want your coach yapping you for is that your lazy and not trying. You may not have the athletic ability as others but that doesn't mean you can't give it all that you've got. And coaches know all this, and so Leech was giving AJ the worst insult you can give a player and it was probably justified. Coaches don't say these things arbitrarily...
