Looks like some rocks are needed to bone things up a bit. Dry concrete also stiffens things up. Its almost time, though to build a coffer dam and pump out the water. Either that or get the big machine to dig around the little machine and bury it right there.
@dragata1 you have obviously never worked in a bog before, when you do that you end up pushing your counterweight and engine area into the mud more thus making the situation ten times as worse.
It was wetland with no real bottom. The hoe was on two digging mats when it sank, just went straight into the ground, not into a hole or ditch. Part of the problem was the other hoe started sinking as well when it had and weight put on it.
I can see why the motor gave out. I wouldn't be running that thing with the motor that far in the mud. Shut her down and dig around it for a while and then hook it up and try to pull it out. At least get a pump going
Hmm ! never experienced that as extreme, as that, but i´ve been pretty close. Guess they should have started right away to dig some dirt away from the front so the machine wouldnt have to come up at such a steep angle.
But when it´s mud you have to be there to know ! just my guess, dig a path out of it !
