The number keys control movement a la the number pad

Those are usually also mapped to movement. I've never played the game, so I don't know, but most games (like dwarf fortress, for example) recognize the numbers and the numpad as the same thing.

Tightning your carapace lasts until you use a physical action. So if you try to move or attack while tightened, your carapace will loosen. Think: Tucking your limbs into your turtle-shell.

At first I was like "Fail montage? Meh..we'll see!", but as you played through, it was actually pretty awesome to see all the unique abilities that they've put into the game. Your commentary combined with the game itself makes a great source of entertainment.

By the way, salt dunes are awesome when you are high level. There are those "r" you escaped from, and they are not salthoppers. Also there are various tough beasts which you can eat for food and they give lots of xp :).

@Deon023 Mental stats don't affect physical mutations. It was a bug in one version that made it seem like they did.

@Deon023 The carapace stays tightening as long as you do not move or attack, because attacking requires movement. I'm not sure if some mutations can be used while tightened.

Sorry for double post but i just wanted to remind/inform you there is an option that gives you 1000xp instantly. Using this you can get crazy high levels and try out various stuff you otherwise wouldn't be able to.

Just saying so you can show some crap off, don't think people would wanna see you 'cheat' on a 'main run'

Heh, it was not blinking tic. You casted a space-time vortex on yourself, and it moved you around the map... It destroys everything and moves you, and it can place you in ANY place on the world map.
