Am i right if i say that your using EMG-HZ Single/Single/Humbucker?

Your the first guitarist i see that uses the same combination i have installed in my Dean Custom. Brilliant clean sound, on wich pickup do you play?

Not sure what brand the pickups are, I got that guitar twenty years ago. I don't play it much, when I do it is normally on the humbucker.

Thanks for your response JAW.

If those pickups are EMG pickups, you can see it directly when you're looking on them. There should be silver or gold letters telling you "EMG" or even "EMG-HZ". No need to do somethin with that guitar, just simply have a look on the pickups.

And maybe this positive responses on your video could lead you to play a few songs on e-guitar, like Dire Straits??? Would be nice to hear some electrical sounds :)

I think you're not very knowledgeable about guitar. First of all, ANYONE could notice the sharp tone from those power rail pick ups...DUH! Secondly, Ibanez does make high quality and affordable guitars but it's nothing compare to the "best sounding guitars". I hate noobs, do more research before you talk.

I'd been playing it on and off for about a year before I posted this video. It isn't that hard, the only difficult bit is holding the continual barre chords cleanly - you need to have a strong left hand!

Either way, great music man, you get great sound from your guitars. I've used your floyd tabs to learn both pink floyd songs and now I'm learning this -- keep it up. If I had one suggestion for you...it would be classical gas by Eric Clapton. Seems to be on par with your interests....

It's all true Tom! However even with a narrow necked nylon (ie non classical) those strings are too sloppy and loose; I'm not sure if I can go back to my old classic days...but I will keep on the lookout for a nice Godin eh? ;)
