Proof that Mario can't walk under water without gameshark

Here's the cheat without gameshark. Get into the water and rotate the camera. You will soon start to walk.

oh you mean On water not underwater just but to say and older older games mario walked underwater floor in like 20 levels

I've tried facing towards it, but it seems the game doesn't let mario get within a certain distance of the door with the fast falling speed. I might try falling slowly while accelerating later.

True, it only disproves the claim that taking fall damage underwater allows walking underwater.

Hey, it's okay! I just said that it's not proof that you can't walk underwater (since it's hard to disprove something like that from the video in question), but it does prove that taking damage underwater in the way he didn't doesn't let you do it. Thanks for making this!

I can walk underwater but I use the Walk Up Hills cheat. It allows me to walk underwater but just in the first scene that I activate the cheat.
