I sure do. I watch WNBA way more than NBA. I watch women's NCAA hoops but not as much as men's. I'm a big fan of both men's and women's soccer at both pro and college level. And if you compare the world records men are in front for 0.7 seconds and that is roughly 7-8 metres. In the end i and most men would rather watch a extreme performance rather than a good performance.

Today, they are considered non-sports and do not get funding like contact sports do - and that's unfair. Let's have funding for traditional sports as well. It's only fair.

I also coached mens sports which is what I prefer as a spectator now that I'm retired from coaching. But that doesn't mean that womens sports do not have merit.
@kklol7 - you are correct. But Title IX requires equal access to sports programming and funding to everyone. That includes men and women. Those sports I mentioned for women, and like other mens sports such as wrestling, field hockey, gymnastics, also deserve funding.
@kklol7 - they do get some. But too many sports teams have been forced to shut down from lack of funding. By the way, it may surprise a lot of people to know that track & field has probably had more team shut downs than any other sport. That's a shame because I was growing up in the 1950/60's it was the second biggest college sport behind football. How I well remember the days when we had huge crowds at the old AAU track meets! I miss those days.

The gap is nonexistent in the WNBA. The UConn women killed 78 straight opponenets, but that never happens in the WNBA. This year, UConn will not be as dominant and there will be much more parity. In the WNBA, there are many teams that compete for the championship. I watch women's basketball and it's actually sometimes more entertaining than men's basketball. Diana Taurasi is by far the best women's basketball player I've ever seen. She would kick some ass in the NBA.

The only reason why was at first I thought it was men's then I saw less pushing and cramming players against the walls then I saw the girls on the sideline. It was ok to watch. Womens Basketball is so boring..... I can't watch it without being pissed. They just don't block and suck at shooting. They miss easy shots and always drop the ball and get stolen easily and it isn't awesome blocks, it is just stupid girls messing up every second.
I have to be honest... i would rather watch a re-run of any basketball, soccer, or football game then watch a women's basketball game.

The only thing that I will watch as far as womens sports is concerned is womens boxing, and Laila Ali was the only person that I really got into. Ann wolfe was another favorite of mine, but she is retired now. Ali is retired as well. I also like Womens UFC fighting, but other that, I watch no womens sports. I usually watch women's sports during the Olympics. Hockey during the winter games and softball during the summer games. I also attend my college's women's basketball games whenever I can.
Women sports are pretty much everything that's outdated in men's sports. We've grown so used to dunks, insane displays of athleticism, etc. And let's face it, there's really none of that in women's sports.
Look at the Top 10 everynight on SC. It's usually 10 dunks, game winning shots, or the occasional hockey goal so they don't look so biased. Noone really cares to see girls laying it up, or shooting a 3.
i completely respect womens tennis and golf, in golf it's not about a long drive and they have to be more perfect because it's harder for them to salvage a bad shot and womens tennis isn't as fast paced but it would take tons of endurance... also there are some pretty hot players in both, look at Gulbis and Sharapova... DAMN
No, I have to say that I just can't get into women's sports for some reason. It's just not as exciting to me. I help set up for both the women's and men's basketball games at my college, and I have to say that the Men's games were 10X more exciting. The men could dunk, were more athletic, and just played better games than the women's. I do enjoy watching some women basketball games if the teams are equal, but it still doesn't compare to men's basketball. Also, there a lot more blowouts.

To give you an idea between the disparity in talent, the U.S. Olympic Women's team (that captured Silver at Olympics) lost to Warroad Boys Highschool. Yes....olympic women lost to 16 year old boys using women's rules (no hitting).

There are lots of popular female athletes in athletics (e.g. Sanya Richards). Ironically, Lindsey Vonn is very popular in Europe, but not in her home country. Then there are many ohers in Tennis and gymnastics. But no real superstar

The WNBA is more exciting and the players are technically sound and fundamental players than the NBA. The Phoenix Mercury won their 2nd WNBA championship over former champions The Los Angeles Sparks. Which saw superstar Lisa Leslie play her last game. The NBA is boring and there is a huge disparity between the toop teams and mediocre teams. Stop hating on women sports.

I pretty much watch Women Sports in Tennis ( In Grand Slam Tournaments,) Figure Skating, Gymnastics, some swimming (cause they rarely show swimming on tv) Volleyball is rarely shown too and in Action Sports such as Snowboarding, Skateboarding etc.

women's basketball is actually, for the most part, very fundamentally sound. players like diana taurasi, maya moore, sue bird, and candace parker are some of the most exciting players the women's game has every produced. i'm not a big fan of other women's sports, aside from tennis, but women's basketball is great.

Yea, I actually watched women's college hockey the other day. The only reason why was at first I thought it was men's then I saw less pushing and cramming players against the walls then I saw the girls on the sideline. It was ok to watch. Womens Basketball is so boring..... I can't watch it without being pissed. They just don't block and suck at shooting. They miss easy shots and always drop the ball and get stolen easily and it isn't awesome blocks, it is just stupid girls messing up every second.
I have to be honest... i would rather watch a re-run of any basketball, soccer, or football game then watch a women's basketball game.

the only time i see womens sports is when they show highlights of games on sportscenter. the thing is, their games arent that competetive, and that makes it boring. also, the refs dont let them play at all. even if there is the slightest amount of contact, they call a foul. as a fan of sports, i dont want to watch the games that are the least entertaining. i have the same amount of respect for women athletes as i do men athletes, but the men athlete's games are a lot more exciting.

The only thing that I will watch as far as womens sports is concerned is womens boxing, and Laila Ali was the only person that I really got into. Ann wolfe was another favorite of mine, but she is retired now. Ali is retired as well. I also like Womens UFC fighting, but other that, I watch no womens sports. The men just seem to be more entertaining than them. No sexism intended

If you ever ger a chance, go watch that famous ann wolfe knockout of Vonda Ward. She is also the current trainer of Middle Weight prospect James Kirkland who is now incacerated on a gun charge. I watch and can give credit...too TENNIS, SOCCER, and WRESTLING. Those are the main that are worth it... you are write, when the WNBA came out it was dope but kinda fell off. Oh yea, Actually Swimming, Track and Softball and great alternates. but that's it... Women are cool in sport, but they need more promotion and more and female wanting to get into sports.

Women sports are pretty much everything that's outdated in men's sports. We've grown so used to dunks, insane displays of athleticism, etc. And let's face it, there's really none of that in women's sports.
Look at the Top 10 everynight on SC. It's usually 10 dunks, game winning shots, or the occasional hockey goal so they don't look so biased. Noone really cares to see girls laying it up, or shooting a 3.

No, I have to say that I just can't get into women's sports for some reason. It's just not as exciting to me. I help set up for both the women's and men's basketball games at my college, and I have to say that the Men's games were 10X more exciting. The men could dunk, were more athletic, and just played better games than the women's. I do enjoy watching some women basketball games if the teams are equal, but it still doesn't compare to men's basketball. Also, there a lot more blowouts.
