@mouadfone well if u connect ur phone to ur comp and just open itunes wile u have the emergency page and just leave it for 10-20 sec it should fix it.. hope this helps

@tompkins1113 if u have winrar extract files or just rename and put .ipsw at the end if u have a file try to find the one that looks something like this 80078 it just is usaully numbers and rename put .ipsw at the end

@zipper125snowputty Hold Home and Power buttons together on your iPod for 15 seconds exactly. It will reboot. Before Jailbreaking, you must know what firmware/version are you running on your iPOd. There are different jailbreaking programs for different versions.

@zipper125snowputty IF you have an iPod then Follow Greenpois0n Video on my channel. Or Follow this. Before you open Redsnow. Right click on it and go to Properties. Then go to "Compatibility" tab on top. Then check mark 2 things. One at the top that says 'run as windows XP service pack". Check mark that. ANd the second thing at the bottom that says "run this program as administrator". Check mark that. NOw close Redsnow and Open it again. This time everything will run smoothly.

Hey guys i got a question. I noticed at the end of emacs video that after he put the device in dfu mode and redsnow started to run, it stopped at "uploading ramdisk" and the bar was half way done. Im having that same thing happen to me. Im wondering, is that bad or do i just wait for the ramdisk bar to finish and finish jailbreaking my phone? Cause when ive used redsnow in the past, the computer portion of the jailbreak took like 20 seconds. Thanks

@zipper125snowputty Hold Home and Power buttons together on your iPod for 15 seconds exactly. It will reboot. Before Jailbreaking, you must know what firmware/version are you running on your iPOd. There are different jailbreaking programs for different versions.

but how is this possible?? it just stops at the exact same time over and over again... then it says redsn0w failed or something... But i can't open up my itunes anymore so how can i check which type of firmware i have??(i think i have 4.1 because i upupdated it a while ago... but im not really sure)

@zipper125snowputty IF you have an iPod then Follow Greenpois0n Video on my channel. Or Follow this. Before you open Redsnow. Right click on it and go to Properties. Then go to "Compatibility" tab on top. Then check mark 2 things. One at the top that says 'run as windows XP service pack". Check mark that. ANd the second thing at the bottom that says "run this program as administrator". Check mark that. NOw close Redsnow and Open it again. This time everything will run smoothly.

when i run Redsn0w it works fine but when i try to browse to select the 4.1 it leads me to an empty folder... even tho i unzipped the 4.1 to my desktop

ATTENTION ANYONE STUCK AT UPLOADING RAMDISK READ THIS
I was stuck at uploading ramdisk. What I did was :
right click redsnow click properties, then compatability,
then click run this program in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 3, then click run this program as administrator.
Click okay and start the jailbreak now.
After that it should work. I just did it and it worked.

Hey guys i got a question. I noticed at the end of emacs video that after he put the device in dfu mode and redsnow started to run, it stopped at "uploading ramdisk" and the bar was half way done. Im having that same thing happen to me. Im wondering, is that bad or do i just wait for the ramdisk bar to finish and finish jailbreaking my phone? Cause when ive used redsnow in the past, the computer portion of the jailbreak took like 20 seconds. Thanks

HELP? I accidently upated my already jailbroke iphone to the new version, probably the 4.1. Now it its in the emergency screen! I tried to unlock and jailbreak it with your other video, using IOS 4.0, but it remains in the same screen. Should I try doing this jailbreak too?
