Great to see another field trip video. I can't believe those HD-DVD's were so cheap, it's hard to find those in stores now-a-days. Congrats on being on TV. How did that even happen by the way?
@cores717 We're not sure to be honest. I'm assuming someone at our local CBS affiliate Just found us entertaining and used the clip. It was on their kind of what's going on around town entertainment show that comes on after the local news and before the network news. I've tried e-mailing them to get a copy of it, since nobody I know had their DVR going at the time.
I just got a great deal today. I found a bunch of Tales from the Crypt and Vault of Horror reprints for $10. I've been looking for some since I was a kid. Also, that Hills have Eyes remake is the only movie I've ever seen on tv that still managed to disturb me.
@LiveFastDiarrhea Thanks, man. :-) Ok, now you have me wanting to see TCM: The Beginning. You have no idea how many decent copies of that i've passed up. There's never enough time to finely comb through the selection at some of these pawn shops. *KJ*
@LBFANSTi I know, lol! I picked up some HDDVDS for a buck per. We shot that haul for next weeks episode, hopefully time permits it to make it in. *Krazy*
Congrats for having such an awesome channel that it made TV. if only they plugged the hell out of your channel it would've been more special. Holy bluray heaven is right!!!! Are pawn shop blurays usually in decent shape? I've considered hitting up some pawn shops, though the pawn shops here are right in the middle of Mexico town. lol Great video as usual jasons.
@SiilentMiike Thanks, man! I have yet to come across a bluray in a pawn shop that was in bad shape. In fact, alot of them appear to have been watched only once. Try it, you'll like it. <peer pressure. *Krazy*
@cackalackymovies Haha, oh god I'm giving in to the pressure! ahaghagah, I can't resist! How much do you and OJ know about toys and collectibles? I picked up four Star Wars Action Fleet toys (1996) today for $15 bucks each as a starting point for my toy collection. I'm a novice in the world of collecting and would appreciate some info.
so you where on a local news show? What was the story about? How to save money or somthing or just a local guys doing youtube? Anyway great vid once again. Keep on pawning.
Great vid, r u guys gonna hit up the Criterion 50% off sale at Barnes & Noble? Ended up with The Thin Red Line on Blu for $14 after member discount and coupon (free membership trial online, FYI).
@Tarmin1489 I am, right this very minute, repeatedly slamming my nut satchel with a bag full of bars of soap. I bought The Thin Red Line full retail at Best Buy. Hopefully, it hasn't quite been 30 days... *Krazy*
Orbit is annoying.. Hey this video is awesome b.c since i watched your last field trip to asheville i have bin looking for stuff. i went to mr k's and it was rad. Im freinds with the people who work at Harvest records there
That limited edition of Memento is ok, It's a great film, one of my favorites, it's just the menu or lack there of is really annoying. Great pickups though guys!
Holy crap, It took me forever to find Feast and i still can't find Feast 2 Sloppy Seconds, part 2 and 3 aren't as good as part one as a horror movie setup, But they are hilarious as comedies, "I'm sorry baby!" Great find, and great video as always.
I love the reversible cover on "King of Kong"... I wish they'd do that on more DVDs/BLUs. 10% Off ain't worth a damn on anything - especially FYE blu-ray prices.
@PlanetBierwagen Me too. Also, I really like the clear cases. Criterion uses clear cases for their bluray releases and i dig it. Dig it man, DIG it. 10% off is nothing but a penis tease. Thanks for watching! *Krazy*
@ChazISaCrueHead Yeah, it's something we struggle with while shooting, and something I struggle with with while editing. We don't take length into account when shooting, because obviously we ain't sciptin' this shite! But when editing, I try to cram the most funny and info and haul into one vid. We used to do 2 parters, but one part always lagged way behind the other in comments and how many people watched it.
@ChazISaCrueHead Yep, thats how I edited in the beginning, but it was always lopsided on the views. I know our hardcore base of viewers would watch both, but we want to include the average viewer too. That's why I try to keep it one part. It's REALLY hard sometimes. That trip where we got the pile o steebooks and toys? Yeah, I worked a looong time to get that to one part. I'm sure we'll have an epic 2 parter at some point though...
@igr4ff Yeah, That All Good Things was my favorite. Loved that episode. All that including the 3 disc Criterion Citizen Kane LD, and Shutter Island DVD came to $14.03. How awesome is that?
@EnduranceProductions We just hit boone, NC and Blowing Rock, NC this past weekend, but sad to report the Big Lots stores up there had nada...I was sad for about 2 seconds...hehehe
I have that Calire figure still in the package,6.99 at Toys R Us almost 2 years ago, i guess it wasn`t (only at Toys R Us) like the sticker says. Big Lots has The Ruins unrated, Carriers, Dead Silence, Desperado collector`s edition, loads of others but mainly christmas type movies for 3.00 if you guys get a chance to hit it up, also they have the "deluxe" editions of Friday the 13th 5,6,7 for 5.00 but no slipcovers.
Another great vid! Just to lt you guys know, Barnes and Noble's 50% off Criterion sale just started today. And I believe it's 60% off for members, meaning most Criterions are 20 bucks and 16 bucks for members!
I´m stunned! Don´t have to say more!^^
Thumbs up dudes!

Cackalacky Madness on TV - awesome, man! You guys are stars, I always knew.
Impressive selection they have in that pawn shop. How are you supposed tro browse through all of these properly?!
"TCM: The Beginning" is pretty underrated imo. Ruthlessly brutal and maybe even better than the first remake.
Outstanding finds with the Citizen Kane and Fantasia-LDs!
Fantastic video - of course.
