not enough back pressure....sounds lumpy...need to pack the silencer if it hasnt been done....affecting throttle response and peak horsepower and rpm....beautifull restoration though

Very nice bike. You should be proud of such a fine restoration job. Just this week, I located my first motorcycle which I owned in 1974. It's a 1972 Six day trials. It's in rough shape but I'm going to fully restore it.

That's a nice bike.I'm from Australia. In 1980 my sister travelled around Europe .I got her to go to the KTM factory and she had a personal guided tour with the manager.
Pentons were serious competition motorcycles and were expensive as hell.

Mattighofen vorbei gefahren, hab mir die neue
Schwinge und die dazugehörenden neuen Rahmen-
teile (Ovalrohr mit Auge sowie Knotenbleche)
für en Kilopreis mitgenommen, das Teil an-
schließend umgefrickelt, da fehlte nur noch eins, die Bilstein Federbeine aus meiner
alten Heimatstadt, sorry Chritoph, ich glaub
das Zubehör hast du mir damals geschenkt,
Federteller und Federn usw....danke nach Rade.
