PEOPLE are caling this the worst ever sporting event ever held in FENWAY parks history and i have to agree, in a 1-1 game watching guys skating around like that is just terrible and a waste of time, there is no pitch to get jeered up for, no suspense of a ball that could be hit, its just skating and thats all. id rather watch figure skating where a good looking woman actually does something. the sad thing is they called 5 strait penalties to get the game tied. @ggqbc Well you're right about there being no suspense of a ball that could be hit, because well, frankly there aren't a bunch of guys standing around waiting for something to happen. Where as hockey it's costantly going, there's the suspense of that one shot that turns the game around, and did you see Tim Thomas' save in overtime? How is that not exciting?

That's a good idea. But if they showcase the Sharks during a Winter Classic (in the next year or two), they would be better off pitting them against the Kings. Anaheim is TERRIBLE. Also, the Sharks/Ducks games tend to be low-scoring affairs. Whereas a Sharks/Kings game would probably be high-scoring and may very well make it to a shootout.

this is going to be an awesome game, but I believe the league kinda messed it up because this was the perfect opportunity for a classic outdoor game against the 2 biggest rivals in sports which is the Canadiens and Bruins. why they chose the Flyers over the Bruins' arch rival, the Canadiens, I don't know, but this is the second best team for the bruins to face. (this is just my opinion!)
