Also, Sonic 06 never happened, yet crisis city ended up in sonic generations. You can argue all you want, but that's breaking sonic lore. So having shadow talk about his past wouldn't be bad.

Also the Shadow from SA2 died (he died and that's it) and then I guess Eggman found the remains of Shadow, took his blood and with the help of some old blueprints I presume he found on ARK he rebuilt Shadow with the same blood. Which is probably why Black Doom could control him in Shadow The Hedgehog. Atleast that's my story of it.

@mattias005 not entirely true. in SA2, Shadow was presumed to be dead through Sonic Heroes and possibly Shadow the Hedgehog. but, during the final boss fight against Black Doom (Devil Doom), if you prolong the boss fight, you hear Eggman in the background admitting that he found Shadow after he fell. he only lost his memory. so the Shadow we see in games in in fact the same Shadow from SA2. he just now decided to move on from his past.

@mattias005 The oriiginal one survived if you fight devil ddom for 8-10 minutes he admits finfing him and Shadow had Black dooms's DNA anyway so if the original one survived he could still be controlled.

Something really gay believe me or not, he was rescued by sum alien ship and they brought him back alive and after you see him back it makes a huge scene in his return.
