Praise dance is about praise and worship through movement. IF the technique is on point then that's just an added bonus. Many very moving and inspiring praise dancers don't know the first thing about technique. This young lady offers phenominal, anointed PRAISE! I LOVED IT!

technique can always be worked on and improved. but the anointing comes from God and this young lady is anointed. anyone with $20 can go to a dance class but it does not mean that they anointed to dance. there is a difference. i see God in her dance, spins, repetitive or not. and guess what? God will anoint what she has,and perfect the things that concern her while the rest criticise, and right before their eyes, and watch... God will elevate her and they will not recognize her.

We are all PRAISE dancers. God wants all of us to dance before Him. However, when you choose to DISPLAY your dance before HIS people, so that they can be minstered to, there should be a certain level of EXCELLENCE/Skill. He is an excellent God! Look at the Lillies in the field! Some people doing Praise dance should let it be thier personal worship,

I have just joined a very new worship dance group. It scares me to think that people would criticise my praise to God. I'm not dancing for competition, only for Jesus. I'm no judge but I thought she was beautiful. Maybe a view from a different angle would have given a different perspective for some rather than right up close & behind.

As a dancer & teacher, I see where the comments about technique and choreography are coming from; no, it's not the most complicated or technically clean presentation out there. But this baby was not PERFORMING, she was MINISTERING. The hands may well have been a style choice for all you know. I have high standards for liturgicaal dance, but I don't dare impose my critiques on someone else's passion. Try to keep an even measure of perspective when levying your criticisms.

This is alright, I will have to admit.... A lot of these moves were moves taught out of sterotypical spiritual dance movements... In order to be good you need to think outside the box and what's not commonly done. Be orginial, don't do things of what's been approved of already, do things that people have no seen....

that spin across the floor over and over... try leaping or jumping or kicking or something to take the place of over doing the spin. one cause you will get dizzy and people will get tired of watching a spinning top... lol!!! other then that i loved your dance and the emotion that you put in and behind it...

i do agree with the last 3 comments but i would have to say it is all in how you are taught and what you are taught! sometimes it is not about technique but about your relationship with God and the annionting that you carry!i do not believe that the viewers unless they them selves are a dancer that teachs dance would care how your thumbs are lol! i use to dance like that until i started stepping. we must learn not to beat down but encourage! now one thing i do have to comment on is .....

That was good but I couldn't help but be distracted by the lack of technique. Maybe take a few ballet classes? Learn about pointing your feet, spotting and tucking in your thumbs instead of bending backwards, waving your arms around and randomly twirling from one side of the stage to the other.
