I don't always agree with obama but he is dead on here those republicans could never really understand what goes into a being a community organizer for the right reasons and all that they do that often goes unknown to the public at large....there just mocking and laughing like the complete ignorant idiots that they are.
you should not write about scripture because the majority of sane people will recognize it as scripture immediately and not pay attention because scripture is WORTHLESS.
@Joe41272 Love that line, but actually an inner city community orginizer is one who gathers up minorities to a city park or school gymnasium, serves up soda and hot dogs, and then proceeds to let everyone know that white people are at fault for all their problems. Then tells em, DON'T FORGET TO VOTE DEMOCRAT!
@earlyhemibill not even close to what a community organizer is but your right wing spin on is amusing even if completely dishonest which is probably your intent.
I always loved this part....his great community organizing skills......take a gander at his home community on the southside of Chicago. How many black-on black homicides occur there every week? Great job Obama. Way to succeed. Can't wait to see you do that community organizing on a nationwide scale.
You act like homicides are his fault! He worked with churches and homeowners to help them! By the way, republicans are Jesus lovers, Jesus was a community organizer.
I'm saying he did a piss poor job as a community organizer. But he's President now. From incompentent community organizer to 24 month term U.S. Senator* to the White House.
And drop the Jesus reference. Different era, different world.
He did a great job as a community organizer are you joking? You can talk to kids all day long it doesn't always mean they are going to listen. Case in point Sara Palin told her daughter not to have sex. She didn't listen and now she has a baby. Her daughter's pregnancy is not her fault nor is gang violence in a community Barack Obama's fault. By the way, he was also in the State Senate.
Please, those neighborhoods on he tried to "organize" are shitholes.
Wow, he was a state senator, how impressive. Then he beats a straw candidate for the U.S. Senate seat; combine that experience with his great speech giving skills and he's def qualified for the most important job on the PLANET.
You do as much as you can! How many people do you know tha leave school to help neighborhoods, churches, homeowners, etc.? There are shithole neighborhodds everywhere, he didn't create them but he tried to make them better. He was a state senator, a US senator, and was on the foreign relations committee. Jimmy carter wasn't the best, but he wasn't the worst either.
You do what you have to do to make things right. Even if that means putting your life on the line. Jesus understood that. Anybody can try anything, but you have to have results.
So a 24 month long Senator is now President. Gotta be record but for all the wrong reasons.
And yes, Jimmy Carter was the worst presidency actually. Take a gander at the state of the union when he left office in 1980. Makes today look prosperous.
With regard to him being a piss poor community organizer, this man was in public service for 20 years! He brought job training and economic development to low-income communities, and he also worked as a civil rights attorney. As a state senator he provided health care and tax breaks to people who needed them, juvenile justice reform, I could go on, but why deprive you of google?
The fact of the matter is that you don't have to be in Washington D.C. for 2 decades to be qualified to be the president! He has been in the community and helping people for 20 years. Like I said, Jesus was a community organizer! As far as cheapening the job, George W. Bush got the job and what exactly were his qualifications?
Wow! You've given a list of people in political office! However, Obama was in the community helping people for longer than those people who have been politicians! Just becuase you are in a political office doesn't actually mean you care about the people. After his 20 years of selfless service he was a state senator for 7 years and a US senator for 3 years!
Yes, I gave the list to show how out of his league he is compared to his predessors. He was a U.S. senator for two years, BTW. He started running for the White House in Feb. 2007. Big deal if he was a state senator. Can't compare that to national service. And big deal how long he was "helping" people out for. Doesn't mean shit when you run for President.
i'm curious what you think, as an Air Force Reserve with prior active duty, Obama didn't pledge allegience, or do other symbolic gestures of patriotism during the campaign? What message is coveyed to servicepeople or civilians?
Saying that Obama didn't pledge allegience or other gestures of patriotism is a lie. I have saeen it with my own eyes. You most likely are taling about the pictures that Fox news showed, however, a few seconds later, his hand was up. He put it up when they started the pledge. Secondly, most people are talking about him not putting his hand over his heart for the national anthem. In actuality, you do not need to put your hand over your heart.
I'm an AF veteran. 20 years of service to the U.S.A. I stand behind Pres. Obama 100%.
You talk of symbolism and gestures. Is that all that's important to you? Pres. Obama is serving our Nation as few other politicians are right now. Most others are still looking out for No. 1 and allowing our Nation to falter.
Get behind your President and support him. Our Country needs and deserves it.
Furthermore, it doesn't matter when Jesus was here. The fact of the matter is he was a community organizer and a SOCIALIST! Isn't socialism what republicans hate?
What exactly am I going to hell for? FOr telling the truth? Jesus was a community organizer and he informed the people who were well off to give to the needy. To the poor he said, "Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God." To the rich he said, ""Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth," and "go, sell what you have, and give to the poor." For Jesus, helping the poor and the outcast is not optional: it is the essence of what it means to love God.
Ok, are you tripping? I never compared him to Jesus. You were looking down on his experience as a community organizer and I simply said Jesus was one. Of course Jesus didn't belong to any party and being a community organizer has nothing to do with someones party! It's about the fact that you are helping people selflessly!
And there is no such thing as selflessly helping people when you are a Chicago based politician with the Daley Machine, BTW. You have ALWAYS have a broader agenda.
I am from Chicago so what the hell are you talking about?! A kid just leaving school and not going to get a paying job but instead decide to help others is selfless!
You know what the problem is with people like you? You are too blinded by your own hatred too see good! This man left school and went into neighborhoods unasked and unpaid. How many people do you know have done that? Have you yourself turned down paying jobs instead to volunteer? I think not! Until you can step up and do half of the things that he's done as a community organizer, than you should have nothing to say! That is true selfless service.
And yes, I do know a lot of people who went out and did service like that, but under much HARSHER conditions. And those people are called Military Veterans.
Let me ask you, truthfully, about Obama's community service: does that make him qualified to be President of the United States of America? Yes or no?
Really? I'm an Air Force veteran and I do applaud service men and women, however that is not the only way to serve your country! As far as his being a community organizer meaing he is qualified for the presidency I think it has helped him. You act like being community organizer was all that he did! As a community organizer, he got things done that some politicians didn't take the time to do. Then he was in the state and US senate.
Yes! He has been out in the community helping people for 20 years, He spent 7 years in the state senate and 3 years as a US senator and was also on the foreign relations committee.
yes, but he started running for President on Feb. 10, 2007. So he was Senator for only 25 months, just over 2 years. Name another Presidential candidate who threw in his hat for the CIC job after being a player in national politics/state chief executive for that short a term.
A man from Illinois running for President, his opponents ridicule him as being inexperienced and unprepared. His only government experience has been servicing the Illinois State legislature, plus a few years as a member of congress. He'd never held any executive or management position of any kind, you don't think he's qualified to be President?
Really?! Interestingly enough, the person who holds that experience that I stated held two presidency terms during one of the most difficult times in US history!
Abraham Lincoln. Who if I'm not mistaken is regarded at being the best President in out history. The fact of the matter is that NOBODY running for President has Presidential experience! The only people who have Presidential experience are people who have been the President before. The Presidency is nothing like anything anyone has ever faced.
Please. Abe Lincoln....different country, different world, different century. To humor you, Abe was in politics for 25 yrs before becoming POTUS; Obama had 11. Not to mention Obama's sham election he won in 2004 to begin with.
But what is the Presidency when you strip everything away? He's a Chief Executive; what has Obama run on a big level? and being a CEO involves running a entity and guiding that entity with major decisions and policy. Obama hadn't done that. On the job training now though.
Oh when it was Lincoln it was ok! LMAO! I could have sworn you told me that the State senate doesn't matter! Then he was only in the house of representatives for 2 years. Lincoln had never run anything on a big level and he got this country through it's biggest internal crises. It's on the job training for everyone because no one knows what it is to be the president unless they have already done it. Presidency is desicion making!
Who said anything about it being okay? I just showed that you can't compare Obama to Lincoln. And as I said, different century, different country, different world 150 years ago. Abe got us through alright but it took over 1 million lives in the process. You obvious didn't stay in Air Force long did you? What, did you demand to be a General or a full bird immediately upon entering? Used the same logic you trying to tell me? Would've loved to see the reaction from your CO after that meeting. LMAO
I'm an officer myself and I earned it with hard work, blood, sweat, and tears. What was so different? The country was at war and was in debt? By the way, who said I was retired? I went from active duty to reserves. I've served 17 years and counting! Do you have the guts to get from behind your computer and serve? I had the guts at 17 years old, I'm sure you were just trying to get laid at that point.
Who said you were a veteran?! Christ, YOU DID! Not sure what to believe out of you anymore because your a liar.
Bottom line is experience doesn't matter anymore apparently. Superficiality is in. And thats that. Now make sure you get back to your cell for nightly headcount. Wouldn't want to you to be subjected to shock treatment or left in a padded room for a week.
I said I'm an Iraq veteran. I served in Iraq something that petulant little boys like you wouldn't dare to do. There is no nightly headcount in the reserves. Being that you still live with mommy, you better make sure that you're in before the street lights come on.
Everyone in America, WELCOME TO THE USSA COMRAD, WITH OUR GRAND LEADER BARACK OBAMA. PLEASE GIVE US 50% TAXES ON YOUR MONEY SO WE CAN SPREAD IT TO THE LAZY NON WORKING POORER COMRADS. Barack Obama 08
Community organizers have provided so much help to communities all around the country. Many people depend on them. To belittle this as Rudy and Palin did, McCain should have called them on that.
Community organizers work mostly with less priviledged people. They are all over the place if you look for them and as McCain even said himself that he wanted people to get involved in their communities.
Since you're on Youtube, please review the Palin interviews. If those videos dont show you how much of a joke Palin is, I dont know what will. She is not only inexperienced but delusional in that she still thinks that she could be president if need be.
If Obamacare is passed and the veterans are robbed as I believe they will be, I plan to discourage any and all I can contact from any government service.
Veterans benefits are only a small part of the overall budget. Veterans have sacrificed for the country already, and politicians typically call on us to sacrifice more all the time. If freezing veterans benefits is needed to stop government pork and handouts by the lame brains in Congress so be it.
Another Obamaism that any veterans may wish to consider. Veterans serve the country and did so in part based on promises of benefits. The current system routinely robs veterans of benefits over time. Such as in the current system vets lose their "free" health care when they turn 65 or become disabled in favor of the "pay" system in medicare, if Obamacare is passed, what do you think will happen to your free health care then?
If the "all together" approach of Obama is any measure, veterans benefits will be robbed to pay for Obama care under the guise of "Its better for everyone". I don't deny that everyone deserves care, but why should veterans who gave a great deal more than the average Joe, be resigned to the same treatment as those who refused to serve?
Bush is a dolt, just as neither of the two losers we have running now are my first choice. But I prefer McCain over Obama (only slightly) as McCain is not intent of giving away the store as Obama is, but in the end the American people will eventually run the country. I only hope the people wake up before Obama sells us out to some other power. But what truly amazes me about other countries is that they are so Schizophrenic about the U.S. viewing us as a problem and the solution for the world.
I'm no Obama supporter, but I'm definitely against McCain, on the grounds of foreign policy. My question to you is this - aren't the pro-globalization right 'selling the shop', as it were, away from American workers with at least as much gusto as corporate Democrats? It's not as if McCain is an isolationist, old school GOP man by any means.
Absolutely correct. I don't like either of these clowns but in the grand scheme you gotta make a choice. McCain will sell us out to the globalist mafia, but at least he's not going to tax us and make us pay for the trip. B-HO, plans to take us on the same boat ride to the poor house and expects us to pay for the trip.
If I viewed the US as just another country, being Dutch, I would never have followed the Presidential elections so closely.
I realize your country is of great influence, which is exactly why I am so worried about the way it is progressing, because for the past eight years its been steadily walking towards its own downfall...
To me the US @ 2008 seems like a turtle - a hard shell, very soft below. The shell is showing cracks all over.
The naysayers claim that oil is 10 years away, from US sources. The guys who actually do the work on the wells say 12-18 months. My question is, How long will it be if we never drill? Whether you like it or not, when the shit hits the fan, the world always screams for the US to fix it, a'la response to the Tsunami in Indonesia, and more recently the taking of a Russian ship by Somali Pirates.
I'm going to leave it here. We can go on forever really, and get nowhere.
It is clear you view the US as a superpower that 'is supposed to have its say' over whichever area it chooses to control. Comfortable as that may have been, the world is no longer as it was. The US is a player like every other and needs to take a huge step back, or get crushed itself.
And even though I am in no way a fan of the US and their choices, I'm worried about it's inhabitants.
If the US said "NO" to some of these items, I would have not problem with that. Since you view the US as just another country, fine, handle your own problems in the future. Don't call us we'll call you.
... and there is definitely no way the US has sufficient supplies for just domestic drilling. Like it or not, the US is highly dependant on oil and cannot get all of it within their own borders.
In regard to Al Queda, they are irrelevant. The U.S. has tolerated them. If the politicians in the U.S. (and other countries) would study history, and treat the Islamofacists as we treated NAZIs, we would merely carpet bomb the entire middle east, just as we did the cities of Germany, that would end AlQueda.
My worry as far as Iran (another M.E. Islamic power player) goes is that if they get and use nukes, our leaders won't have the guts to respond in kind, vaporizing Teheran.
Oh, right, stability is good for the petrol price. Instability causes it to rise.
Almost lost it myself. Pfew.
Regardless, whether the initial goal and the actual outcome are different doesn't matter.
Keep in mind also that 'Regional stability' and 'democracy' are politically suitable comments, whereas 'controlling our oil supply' is far less politically acceptable.
Last pt: there is no way for the US to switch to native oil as fast as you suggest...
The oil crusade implies that we are there merely for oil and not regional stability. I don't give a rats ass about Iraq or the oil. I would prefer we drill in ANWR and remove ourselves from the world oil market and use our own. Then the rest of the world can worry about the middle east.
As for the "outrageous oil company profits." Review the profit margin, the profit margin of today is no higher than it was in 2000. The government actually makes more profit than the oil companies.
And mind you, there is really no need at all for another terrorist attack on the US, because that country is moving exactly how Al´Qaida wants it to as it took up the role of agressor.
Really, Iraq's only (possible) profit is oil. End of story. And now all militia and terrorist cells in the Middle East confirm: 'see, they attack us, they ARE against us!'
You don't like politics, but politicians control your employer. So you voluntarily went on an oil crusade. Congrats mate.
Well mate, I'm not an American - so firing democrat abuse is really useless.
Secondly, when you engage in discussion it adds to your credibility if you come back to the arguments made, and not avoid them when there is no ready answer.
"The current war started in 2003. Get a clue."
A war starts with the first offensive move. Simple as. There is no 'current' war, there is just the Iraq conflict.
If the war started (in your mind) in 2001, then you must buy into the idea that 9/11 was backed by Iraq? Now If you want to talk about Iraq Conflict, it would take us back to 1991. So you have my permission to call the start of the war whenever you like, it makes no difference to me.
Then you mention the Presidential security, since I have been in war zones and seen first hand who guards the President, and my comments, which you alluded referred to war zones, I must conclude that you are not paying attention, and my facts are correct.
Sorry I didn't read your mind and put in all the data that you feel is pertinent, but tough shit, "life be that way sometimes". I answered what I felt like answering, and you don't get to dictate what I say, even though you leftists prefer to have that ability.
BTW, we had an attack on 9/11, but none since, so yes we are safer.
As to your comment about protecting the Pres.? In war zones, the military does security. If the Secret Service wants to take on a foreign military, they are welcome to try.
Geographer, you only replied to 1 out of four of my counter comments, which implies you agree with the first three?
Also, you keep striking me as a typical patriotic Republican who has lost all sense of proportion and realism when looking at one's own country.
The fact that you can only refer to your personal experience instead of bringing in facts as you used to earlier, suggests I'm quite right on pt. 4 as well.
I leave it to you to get constructive rather than suggestive
1. What are you winning? What have you won? Is America safer now?
2. 2001 - 2008 seems seven to me, give or take a few months
3. You've been blindfolded? Even the 'winning-hearts-and-minds' tactic in Afghanistan is taking lots of civilian lives. Iraq is only slightly different in its approach. Todays' friends in Iraq could be enemies tomorrow, so innocence can't really be defined.
4. Voluntarily being forced into Army service because of the deplorable state of America and its availability of jobs, I can hardly call that voluntary.
Yes, voluntary. I live near a military base. few of the kids here, even though they come from military families, are going into the military, some do, but not the majority. My own sons both volunteered, one went to Iraq, one was rejected due to medical issues, both are out of service now and working at jobs in the local community. Neither is at a loss for work.
Your fact need some updates. You need to get out more often.
1. We are not losing the war.
2. The war has not been going on for 7 years.
3. We are not killing civilians.
4. Our military is all volunteer. It has been all vounteer since the early 1970's, no one is keeping soldiers over there. Soldiers sign on typically for a 3 year enlistment, all soldiers currently serving have either enlisted or re-enlisted AFTER the war started, and know full well what they are doing.
Obama is a lame pinhead, I served in the military, voluntarily and honorably. Obama talks about military service as only one of two choices a right wing person can have for service. The next time Obama needs security when he goes to a foreign country he can call on Blackwater to do his security. If I were charged with his security, I would think long and hard before putting myself in harms way for his safety. Obama is a self serving jerk.
Really? He is self serving? Is that why he care's so much about the soldiers lives that he is trying to get them out of there, unlike keeping them in a war that we have been losing for the past 7 years? And not to mention that we have been killing innocent citizens of Iraq.
Yes, "Self Serving"! Have you considered why a man would spend millions of dollars of other peoples money to get a job that pays less than half a million per year? It is because he craves the power of the position! He wants to give money to the poor, but is he asking that they earn it? No, he simply takes it from those who work for living to give it to those who do not. Why? Because it gives him power over the lives of those to whom he gives the money.
Obama, like all politicians, can be counted on to do one thing above all, that is whatever works to achieve their own selfish desires. In most cases, the issuance of power.
"The fall the the housing industry got started with Clinton passing a bill in 1999 that allowed people how have no money do to their own stupidity to buy homes they can't afford! "
Actually, we're touching the American discipline of living on debt here. THAT is the cause of twisted economical values and proportions. It really doesn't matter what president passed what bill, if the public doesn't realise that you cannot spend money that you don't have. Subprime market is the perfect example!
The fall actually started with the "Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)." in 1977, written by a Democrat Congress and signed into Law by Carter. This law was increased in power by Clinton in 1995. It has now come to a head and the system crashed under a DNC run Congress.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Comunity organizer in Chicago -- duties include 1. - Attend black racist anti american community church for 20 yrs. 2.Advance your political career in the community by joining a board with terrorist william ayers who bombed the pentagon and police headquarters killing an officer. 3. Pick up money garnered from shakedowns on buisnesses in your community.
Now looking at these qualifications number 3 does qualify you to be the democratic nominee.
Gangularis, I said it before I will say it again and this time you will have to use to your own head and stop trying to use mine:
People who DO NOT vote are the ONLY ones who have a right to complain about the idiots the voters put in office.
Once you have made a choice and a bunch of nuts are running this country, there is nothing else for you to say. You helped put them there, so what you have to say no longer counts.
I have to help my daughters with this behavior all the time..."I hit her because she was sticking her hand in my mouth" "Well SHE stepped on my foot." "Well SHE..."
It doesn't matter who started it, I say, it matters who stops it. Not that it works. But then, they're five-year-olds.
Obama and McCain are one and the same and if you can't see that well then fuck it, we patriots of the constitution will throw you in with the wolves because you're a worthless american. WAKE UP PEOPLE! THEY'RE BOTH MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS!!! Ron Paul, Mike Gravel, Dennis Kucinich. Those are the men who have real solutions to change and demonstrate them! Obama and McCain are shills and fascists fooling you all for votes. Its all a stage you yuppies "oh god i got to see him"
Lobbyists, officers and directors tied to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have contributed $169,000 to John McCain, $16,000 to Barack Obama. These are the people whose financial interests are staked on the well being of these corporations. That's more than 10 to 1 in McCain's favor. Obama recieved $126,000 from employees of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, these are people who simply do the to 5 thing. And don't forget Rick Davis's $1.8 million for heading their lobbyist firm.
Hi, I'm Barack Hussein Obama... I'm running for President, even though I have only 2 years Senate experience, and been a community organizer before that... I feel I'm qualified.
I have a wonderful wife who hates America... I have gone to a all black church with a pastor who preaches hate against America and white people for 20 years... I am friends with Bill Ayers; a terrorist who bombed the Capital and Pentagon in the 1970's. I have used Cocaine and other drugs... Will you vote for me in 08
Oh dear, he went to an all black church and his middle name is Hussein? He must be a terrible peron then. Thanks for all that great info. I prefer slanderous attacks to actually listening to the important issues. Being a tool is fun.
Obama campain operatives recentily hacked Sarah Palin's person e-mail and invaded her privacy. Sarah Palin's personal e-mail only revealed a caring mother and wife taking care of family business. This is the kind of slime ball and criminal invasion of privacy that will be commonplace if Obama is elected!! Liberal Marxist Democrats like Obama will try ANYTHING for power (like the Clintons) and the ends always justify the means!!
Anonymous is hardly a "campaign operative" of any sort... they're straight-up anarchist - way beyond the sphere of simple politics. And I will submit to you that the GOP has been more of a proponent of invasion of personal privacy as of late than any internet collective of hackers could ever be.
Okay, we weren't discussing Obama's level of desire for the presidency. I was attempting to have a discussion based on facts, or at least the most factual information available. If you can point to any substantive evidence that Obama's campaign had any role whatsoever in the Palin email hack by Anonymous, I'd be glad to have a look and discuss it. But making unsubstantiated blanket statements based on our like or dislike of a candidate is not only unintelligent, it's... uncool.
The hijacking of people's personal emails started with a legislative act proposed and signed into law by George Bush called the Patriot Act. Republicans started this shit and now they whine like cunts because someone else did the same thing to them. Fuck Sarah Palin and her privacy being invaded. She welcomed an investigation into her administration and now she's pulling pages out of the Clinton playbook. She's a worthless cunt and one way or another, she'll get hers. Orange jumpsuit,I mean
The fall the the housing industry got started with Clinton passing a bill in 1999 that allowed people how have no money do to their own stupidity to buy homes they can't afford!
The bill you are speaking of is the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which was authored by Republicans Phil Gramm and James Leach. Phil Gramm, who recently called those who are concerned with the state of the economy a bunch of whiners, is John McCain's self admitted chief economic advisor. Gramm authored the bill that bailed out the subprime mortgage lenders and then went to work as a lobbyist for USB. McCain thinks this guy's an economic genius. For billionaires maybe.
The real trouble began in 1999 when Franklin Delano Raines, former budget director for Bill Clinton, took over as chairman of Fannie.
Raines pushed hard to expand the number of mortgages and the size of those loans that Fannie could hold to politically benifit the liberals and get votes.
But at the end of the Clinton administration and into the Bush presidency, Fannie Mae and its sister organization, Freddie Mac, ended up owning trillions of dollars of mortgages.
By the way daddymak8, most hedge funds that are hardly regulated are doing far better than the highly regulated and lard banks and insurance companies that a failing on a daily basis now!! The government regulation makes them puppets for liberal politics!! Also, Lehmann Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, etc etc. has donated far more to the Obma campaign than to the McCain campaign. Many liberals, contrary to public belief, run these types of firms (many Jews).
No, I'm 100% right. The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act is what allowed for the bailout of subprime mortgage lenders. That's why these hack lenders are under FBI investigation. It's a good thing that there have been Democrats to hold the presidency, because if there weren't, who would you asshole Republicans blame everything on.
The latest housing bubble started back in the Clinton administration, when he and other liberal got the brilliant notion that all Americans should be able to buy houses.
No, let me change that.
They concluded that everyone deserved to own a house regardless of whether they could actually afford one
There is no Clinton recession. He left W with 32 straight quarters of economic growth, in addition to two quarters of growth left by his father, who hates his guts. 34 straight quarters of economic growth, that's what W inherited. Bush sunk the economy with his 2001 tax rebate by spending money that we didn't have. Bush owns this recession, no one else.
Well, since you don't have a finance degree and I do from a top ten business school, I will educate you. Clinton did nothing to benefit the economy, the economic growth was the fraud of the Internet bubble that burst. Just like the current liberal generated mortage financial disaster has nothing to do with deregulation. It has to do with a liberal congress forcing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to give loans to people that are unworthy for votes, banks bought these mortgage securities and failed.
Well, since you don't have an ounce of either common sense or objectivity, and I do, I'll educate you. George Bush inherited 32 straight quarters of economic growth from Bill Clinton. He also inherited a record surplus, that he depleted in 2001 to give a tax cut that the money wasn't there. He was also the president when the economy went into the tank. And he's also the president that racked up a record deficit and record home foreclosures and lost half million jobs.
You are merely a gormless twot who does nothing but repeat the talking points that you heard on Rush Limbaugh an hour before. The bottom fell out on Bush's watch. And Democrats have razor thin majoritites in bith the House and Senate, so nothing gets done without a bipartisan consensus since Bush still has veto power and has gotten his way the vast majority of the time. And let me tell you something, the majority of Democrats in Congress are moderate to conservative.
Bullshit, Democrats control the Congress and sets the agenda. Bush has no control over the purse strings because he is president. This financial collapse is the latest failed attemot by liberals to transfer wealth from worthy to unworthy people as a ploy to get votes and support illeagal aliens until amnesty kicks in and the liberal get several million more instant welfare dependent voters. We all know its true, even you!
Oh, you mean the illegals that were let into the country and offered a pathway to citizenship under a bill that was written by John McCain? Congress vote on what the president sends them. They do not have large enough majorities to override a Bush veto, so in the end, he gets what he wants. That is a fact. And your latest post is just the typical Republican babble. The majority of people on public assistance do not vote, that is a fact. So keep showing your stupidity and posting bullshit.
This is bullshit daddymak8, the political lanscape is changing due to the exponentially growing mexican vote in this country. The majority of the Mexican vote is illegal based, we all know it. The blacks are now fighting with the Mexicans for free government services.
Dude, you officially became a blithering idiot a long time ago. You're the typical Republican. You regurgitate the unsubstantiated propaganda that Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh said an hour earlier without looking into anything. You're a blithering idiot. Go away, already. You're pathetic.
what daddymak8 says is true.. the impoverished and lower class will bitch until the cows come home about bush, but when it comes time to vote, they don't have the motivation to get off their beer drinking asses to do something about it. I know.. i was a taxi driver in a city in ohio. I mostly transported poor people and drunk people around.. they ALL hated bush.. after the election, i asked them all if they voted.. and almost none of them did..
That's backasswards. It's the people who DON'T vote who DO have the right to complain. The ones who vote for these jerks shouldn't be saying jack--they're the ones that voted for them. They have nothing else to say. But to talk against being a community organizer is trashy and elitist and was an insult to community organizers everywhere.
lol WHAT?!! If i voted for someone other than bush, I have every right to complain.. people that didn't vote, because they're too lazy and unmotived have no right to complain.
The problem with an asshole like lookout is that he's too busy sucking Republican dick and calling everything a handout that he doesn't realize that the Republicans have made it easier for big corporations to alter financial dealings and hurt working people due to deregulation, which has led to government HANDOUTS to bailout big corporations who went bankrupt because they raise interest rates and premiums at will, knowing consumers will go bankrupt and corporate welfare takes care of them.
Go fuck yourself you guberment handout POS. I make a cool 300k per year. I work because I am actually doing something about energy. You fucking pussy, you meet me in a martial arts ring. Come on fuck face, Just fair and square with a referee. You better bring a doctor. You are a fucking liar.
Here's your chance!!! You hate "republicans" so much wouldn't you just love to take one on? COME ON!! go for it. I will provide the gym, the ring, and the ref!!
Now I know I'm dealing with an idiot. You want to make a challenge over a youtube blogsite to someone who you've never even seen. You have no idea where I am, I have no idea where you are, but you're challenging me like I'm in the locker room backstage of a WWE broadcast. You're a moron, you and your so called $300k. I'll be fishing in Florida while you're still taking orders from some snot nosed lacky in 10 years. Have a nice day!!!
This POS daddymak8 is the problem with the country. He is too fucking stupid to look at anything that doesn't have some kind of handout for him. Fuck this guy, don't waste your time.
Hey, lookout, are you still pissed that I was born in Portugal and have managed to find a job that I will be able to retire at 44, after working only sixteen years plus 4 years of military time applied toward my pension? Does it bother you that I could very easily be making $80,000 a year as a 44 yeard old retiree? Does it bother you that I'll only have been a citizen for 18 years when I'm retired at a full pension? If so, fuck you. I earned my keep. I've upped my standards, now UP YOURS!!!
" The appearance of it was wrong. It's a wrong appearance when a group of senators appear in a meeting with a group of regulators, because it conveys the impression of undue and improper influence. And it was the wrong thing to do."- John McCain, testimony to the US Senate ethics committee, regarding the Keating Five scandal. In 2005, he was one of four co-authors of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act, which is what eased regulations on corporations like AIG, Merrill Lynch,et
I think the best way to judge Obama is on his community organizing skills. It's only fair seeing that he has his largest body of work in this fine endeavor.
I'm from Chicago and if you take a look at how Mr. Obama's organizational skills you will find, poverty, high crime and drug use rampant.
Oh if you do decide to venture out to these lovely places, borrow a humvee from the army because they're more dangerous than Iraq!
Present votes are COMMON PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURAL manuevers in Illinois. They are used as a means similar to the filibuster, which John McCain has taken part in 90 times during this congresional session. Voting present is how legislation that has a majority vote is killed. When enough people vote present, it prevents a quorum and kills the measure until the next legislative session. Bitchslap of EscapeNewJersey #14.
Under Barack Obama's economic plan, 95% of Americans will recieve a tax cut of $1,000. Taxes will be raised ONLY on persons making MORE THAN $250,000. ANyone making under $150,000 will recieve the $1,000 tax credit.
If Obama wins we all loose. I agree with you that the public is stupid and Obama is a reflection of that. Obama will set blacks back 50 years. Obama is a crook and a Marxist.
Obama is a crook. LOL.LOL.LOL. John McCain is both the only presidential candidate and the only member of the US Senate to sit on the other side of the table to be interrogated by the Senate Ethics panel, being censured unanimously by the Senate for his involvement with Charles Keating, a corrupt S&L investor who bundled $112k for McCain, helped his wife and father-in-law invest $359k in a shopping mall that turned a profit, and paid for 9 McCain family trips.
February — As Sen. McCain has pointed out, Obama promised to use public funding in the general election if the Republican candidate would do so also. Well, McCain has agreed to it, but now Obama wants to back out of the deal. After all, when he made the promise, he didnt have a chance of raising more than the publics $85 million stipend. But now that he can raise $300 million, well, whats a little untruth between the waited-for one and his people? Yes, he can.
John McCain loaned his campaign $1million for the New Hampshire primary. And he stated that he would stay in after the primary, win or lose, in order to apply for public financing to repay the loan. McCain is the hypocrite regarding public financing, not Barack Obama. He realized that if he accepted public financing, he would not be able to run any ads until AFTER both conventions and be subjected to false 527 attack ads and not be able to respond. He was smart, McCain wasn't. You lose!!!
Responding to criticism of his disrespect of the flag of the United States during the National Anthem, Obama defended himself by saying My grandfather taught me how to say the Pledge of Allegiance when I was 2.
He didnt even remember what he was doing on September 17th, when Obama, Hillary and Bill Richardson attended the Steak Fry of Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) in Indianola, IA.How can he possibly remember what happened when he was two years old?
Responding to criticism of you sucking John McCain's wrinkly old cock, blah blah blah and yada yada yada. The flag shit is old and long ago discredited. He was facing the flag and singing the national anthem. And unlike the others, he was facing the flag directly. Look at the polls, McCain lost his post convention bounce and Sarah Palin's negatives now are higher than her positives. That retarded idiot said the economy was strong the day the stock market crashed 500 points. U&him, 2 idiots.
Do you know how pathetic you sound? I just debunked 13 of your posts. Are we back to the old blame it on the media routine? John McCain should have been in jail for his role in the Keating Five scandal and there's no coverage of that. He sponsored the bill that authorized the deregulation of companies like Bear Stearns, AIG, Merrill Lynch, etc. in 2005, which are just the new version of Charles Keating's Lincoln Investments. Give it up, grab a cold one and lick your wounds. I kicked yourass
Do you know how stupid you look when you re-post Internet tinfoil propaganda that was discredited months, even years ago? You do nothing but repeat rightwing ideology that not even John McCain wants anything to do with. And you should see how dumb you look when someone like me comes back with the FACTS. Post your bullshit all day. I've debunked EVERYTHING, and will continue to. Next time you're sucking McCain's dick, tell him I said to drop dead.
What I posted about Obama's lies is all true. However, the liberal media refuses to cover it just like they refused to report the lies amd immoral behavior of John Edwards!
What immoral behavior regarding John Edwards are you talking about? Oh, he had an affair. WOW!!! How come you Republicans never talk about the FACT that John McCain ADMITTEDLY fucked around on his paralyzed wife, Carol, for five years but didn't leave her until he met the billionaire's daughter scocialite cunt, Cindy Hensley. How come you don't talk about the FACT that they applied for a marriage license a month before his divorce was finalized, which is a felony? Manufactured Obama stories.
I don't always agree with obama but he is dead on here those republicans could never really understand what goes into a being a community organizer for the right reasons and all that they do that often goes unknown to the public at large....there just mocking and laughing like the complete ignorant idiots that they are.

No, not really. I'm not a Christian, though, so I don't give a shit.
Joe41272 2 years ago

Can't wait to see you do that community organizing on a nationwide scale.
valglass12 2 years ago
You act like homicides are his fault! He worked with churches and homeowners to help them! By the way, republicans are Jesus lovers, Jesus was a community organizer.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
I'm saying he did a piss poor job as a community organizer. But he's President now. From incompentent community organizer to 24 month term U.S. Senator* to the White House.
And drop the Jesus reference. Different era, different world.
valglass12 2 years ago
He did a great job as a community organizer are you joking? You can talk to kids all day long it doesn't always mean they are going to listen. Case in point Sara Palin told her daughter not to have sex. She didn't listen and now she has a baby. Her daughter's pregnancy is not her fault nor is gang violence in a community Barack Obama's fault. By the way, he was also in the State Senate.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
Please, those neighborhoods on he tried to "organize" are shitholes.
Wow, he was a state senator, how impressive. Then he beats a straw candidate for the U.S. Senate seat; combine that experience with his great speech giving skills and he's def qualified for the most important job on the PLANET.
I wonder if he's related to Jimmy Carter?
valglass12 2 years ago
You do as much as you can! How many people do you know tha leave school to help neighborhoods, churches, homeowners, etc.? There are shithole neighborhodds everywhere, he didn't create them but he tried to make them better. He was a state senator, a US senator, and was on the foreign relations committee. Jimmy carter wasn't the best, but he wasn't the worst either.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
You do what you have to do to make things right. Even if that means putting your life on the line. Jesus understood that. Anybody can try anything, but you have to have results.
So a 24 month long Senator is now President. Gotta be record but for all the wrong reasons.
And yes, Jimmy Carter was the worst presidency actually. Take a gander at the state of the union when he left office in 1980. Makes today look prosperous.
valglass12 2 years ago
With regard to him being a piss poor community organizer, this man was in public service for 20 years! He brought job training and economic development to low-income communities, and he also worked as a civil rights attorney. As a state senator he provided health care and tax breaks to people who needed them, juvenile justice reform, I could go on, but why deprive you of google?
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
And all of that makes you qualified for the Oval Office? Please, don't cheapen the job.
valglass12 2 years ago
The fact of the matter is that you don't have to be in Washington D.C. for 2 decades to be qualified to be the president! He has been in the community and helping people for 20 years. Like I said, Jesus was a community organizer! As far as cheapening the job, George W. Bush got the job and what exactly were his qualifications?
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
He was "only" Governor of Texas for 5 years. He actually ran something, unlike Obama.
Clinton- Gov. pf Arkansas for 12 years
Bush Sr. - VP for 8 years
Reagan- Gov. of Cali for 8 years
Carter - Gov. of Georgia, 4 years
Nixon- VP for 8 years
Johnson- VP for 3 years, President for 1
Kennedy - U.S. Senator for 8 years
Now lets compare Obama to the rest of them. Who's the odd duck out here?
valglass12 2 years ago
Wow! You've given a list of people in political office! However, Obama was in the community helping people for longer than those people who have been politicians! Just becuase you are in a political office doesn't actually mean you care about the people. After his 20 years of selfless service he was a state senator for 7 years and a US senator for 3 years!
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
Yes, I gave the list to show how out of his league he is compared to his predessors. He was a U.S. senator for two years, BTW. He started running for the White House in Feb. 2007. Big deal if he was a state senator. Can't compare that to national service. And big deal how long he was "helping" people out for. Doesn't mean shit when you run for President.
valglass12 2 years ago
i'm curious what you think, as an Air Force Reserve with prior active duty, Obama didn't pledge allegience, or do other symbolic gestures of patriotism during the campaign? What message is coveyed to servicepeople or civilians?
23Truthseeker 2 years ago
Saying that Obama didn't pledge allegience or other gestures of patriotism is a lie. I have saeen it with my own eyes. You most likely are taling about the pictures that Fox news showed, however, a few seconds later, his hand was up. He put it up when they started the pledge. Secondly, most people are talking about him not putting his hand over his heart for the national anthem. In actuality, you do not need to put your hand over your heart.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
23Truthseeker,
I'm an AF veteran.
Our Country needs and deserves it.
tuberyou 2 years ago 2
Furthermore, it doesn't matter when Jesus was here. The fact of the matter is he was a community organizer and a SOCIALIST! Isn't socialism what republicans hate?
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
Please. Your going to hell for that one.
valglass12 2 years ago
What exactly am I going to hell for? FOr telling the truth? Jesus was a community organizer and he informed the people who were well off to give to the needy. To the poor he said, "Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God." To the rich he said, ""Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth," and "go, sell what you have, and give to the poor." For Jesus, helping the poor and the outcast is not optional: it is the essence of what it means to love God.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
Jesus was not for any political party. And you full of shit for calling him acommunity organizer. Comparing Obama to him. Disgraceful and sacrilege.
valglass12 2 years ago
Ok, are you tripping? I never compared him to Jesus. You were looking down on his experience as a community organizer and I simply said Jesus was one. Of course Jesus didn't belong to any party and being a community organizer has nothing to do with someones party! It's about the fact that you are helping people selflessly!
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
The hell you didn't.
Okay, so he helped people. He's not alone in that department. What makes him special? NOTHING!
valglass12 2 years ago
He sleflessly helped people for 20 years! That's longer than some people have been in political office!
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
And there is no such thing as selflessly helping people when you are a Chicago based politician with the Daley Machine, BTW. You have ALWAYS have a broader agenda.
valglass12 2 years ago
I am from Chicago so what the hell are you talking about?! A kid just leaving school and not going to get a paying job but instead decide to help others is selfless!
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
Thats a good one. Keep telling yourself that.
valglass12 2 years ago
You know what the problem is with people like you? You are too blinded by your own hatred too see good! This man left school and went into neighborhoods unasked and unpaid. How many people do you know have done that? Have you yourself turned down paying jobs instead to volunteer? I think not! Until you can step up and do half of the things that he's done as a community organizer, than you should have nothing to say! That is true selfless service.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
Yep, thats me alright, David Duke himself.
And yes, I do know a lot of people who went out and did service like that, but under much HARSHER conditions. And those people are called Military Veterans.
Let me ask you, truthfully, about Obama's community service: does that make him qualified to be President of the United States of America? Yes or no?
valglass12 2 years ago
Then he was in the state and US senate.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
Thank you for service.
One more time, is that a qualification to the CIC, yes or no? Community service and 25 months as a U.S. Senator? Yes or no now?
valglass12 2 years ago
Yes! He has been out in the community helping people for 20 years, He spent 7 years in the state senate and 3 years as a US senator and was also on the foreign relations committee.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
Okay. Just remember that in Nov. 2012 when you vote again. But take a good, hard look at the state of the union before you cast your ballot.
And he was a U.S. senator for 2 years, not 3.
valglass12 2 years ago
He was a U.S. senator from January 4, 2005 November 16, 2008. That's 3 years all day long. If you want to get technical it's 3 1/3 years.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
yes, but he started running for President on Feb. 10, 2007. So he was Senator for only 25 months, just over 2 years. Name another Presidential candidate who threw in his hat for the CIC job after being a player in national politics/state chief executive for that short a term.
valglass12 2 years ago
It doesn't matter when he trew his hat in the race, he was still a Senator and still attended votes.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
I would believe that if I didn't see him on the news every night campaigning in a different state
valglass12 2 years ago
Question: Would the media have made an issue of his inexperience had Obama been 100% white?
valglass12 2 years ago
A man from Illinois running for President, his opponents ridicule him as being inexperienced and unprepared. His only government experience has been servicing the Illinois State legislature, plus a few years as a member of congress. He'd never held any executive or management position of any kind, you don't think he's qualified to be President?
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
He's barely qualified to be Governor of Illinois. And even thats debatable. Nevermind POTUS. Please.
valglass12 2 years ago
So again, because I want to be clear. You don't think those qualifications I just named are enough to become the President of the Unite States?
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
HELL NO.
valglass12 2 years ago
Really?! Interestingly enough, the person who holds that experience that I stated held two presidency terms during one of the most difficult times in US history!
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
Oh? Whom?
valglass12 2 years ago
Abraham Lincoln. Who if I'm not mistaken is regarded at being the best President in out history. The fact of the matter is that NOBODY running for President has Presidential experience! The only people who have Presidential experience are people who have been the President before. The Presidency is nothing like anything anyone has ever faced.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
On the job training now though.
valglass12 2 years ago
Oh when it was Lincoln it was ok! LMAO! I could have sworn you told me that the State senate doesn't matter! Then he was only in the house of representatives for 2 years. Lincoln had never run anything on a big level and he got this country through it's biggest internal crises. It's on the job training for everyone because no one knows what it is to be the president unless they have already done it. Presidency is desicion making!
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
Who said anything about it being okay? I just showed that you can't compare Obama to Lincoln. And as I said, different century, different country, different world 150 years ago. Abe got us through alright but it took over 1 million lives in the process. You obvious didn't stay in Air Force long did you? What, did you demand to be a General or a full bird immediately upon entering? Used the same logic you trying to tell me? Would've loved to see the reaction from your CO after that meeting. LMAO
valglass12 2 years ago
I'm an officer myself and I earned it with hard work, blood, sweat, and tears. What was so different? The country was at war and was in debt? By the way, who said I was retired? I went from active duty to reserves. I've served 17 years and counting! Do you have the guts to get from behind your computer and serve? I had the guts at 17 years old, I'm sure you were just trying to get laid at that point.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
Who said you were a veteran?! Christ, YOU DID! Not sure what to believe out of you anymore because your a liar.
Bottom line is experience doesn't matter anymore apparently. Superficiality is in. And thats that. Now make sure you get back to your cell for nightly headcount. Wouldn't want to you to be subjected to shock treatment or left in a padded room for a week.
valglass12 2 years ago
I said I'm an Iraq veteran. I served in Iraq something that petulant little boys like you wouldn't dare to do. There is no nightly headcount in the reserves. Being that you still live with mommy, you better make sure that you're in before the street lights come on.
sexyfoxx86 2 years ago
No, you didn't say you were an Iraq veteran. Check you last posts.
Better get your eyes tested.

"Community organizers have provided so much help to communities all around the country."
When was the last time a "community organizer" did anything for me?
"To belittle this as Rudy and Palin did, McCain should have called them on that."
The marxists have criticized Palin for inexperience. Obama is even more inexperienced because mayor of a town beats being a community organizer.
fubecabr 3 years ago
Fubecabr:
Community organizers work mostly with less priviledged people. They are all over the place if you look for them and as McCain even said himself that he wanted people to get involved in their communities.
Since you're on Youtube, please review the Palin interviews. If those videos dont show you how much of a joke Palin is, I dont know what will. She is not only inexperienced but delusional in that she still thinks that she could be president if need be.
y0utube1973 3 years ago
"Community organizers work mostly with less priviledged people"
I'm less privileged. Neither the government nor family has ever given me a handout or inheritance.
"Since you're on Youtube, please review the Palin interviews. If those videos dont show you how much of a joke Palin is, I dont know what will"
Palin is more experienced than Obama.

If Obamacare is passed and the veterans are robbed as I believe they will be, I plan to discourage any and all I can contact from any government service.
Geographer76 3 years ago
u know mccain said he will freeze all government spending. maybe that wont include veterans maybe it will but he said it
BRIAN7O7 3 years ago
Veterans benefits are only a small part of the overall budget. Veterans have sacrificed for the country already, and politicians typically call on us to sacrifice more all the time. If freezing veterans benefits is needed to stop government pork and handouts by the lame brains in Congress so be it.
Geographer76 3 years ago
Another Obamaism that any veterans may wish to consider. Veterans serve the country and did so in part based on promises of benefits. The current system routinely robs veterans of benefits over time. Such as in the current system vets lose their "free" health care when they turn 65 or become disabled in favor of the "pay" system in medicare, if Obamacare is passed, what do you think will happen to your free health care then?
Geographer76 3 years ago

Geographer76 3 years ago
I'm no Obama supporter, but I'm definitely against McCain, on the grounds of foreign policy. My question to you is this - aren't the pro-globalization right 'selling the shop', as it were, away from American workers with at least as much gusto as corporate Democrats? It's not as if McCain is an isolationist, old school GOP man by any means.
trotskyteats 3 years ago

GeminEye86 3 years ago
The naysayers claim that oil is 10 years away, from US sources. The guys who actually do the work on the wells say 12-18 months. My question is, How long will it be if we never drill? Whether you like it or not, when the shit hits the fan, the world always screams for the US to fix it, a'la response to the Tsunami in Indonesia, and more recently the taking of a Russian ship by Somali Pirates.
Geographer76 3 years ago
I'm going to leave it here. We can go on forever really, and get nowhere.
It is clear you view the US as a superpower that 'is supposed to have its say' over whichever area it chooses to control. Comfortable as that may have been, the world is no longer as it was. The US is a player like every other and needs to take a huge step back, or get crushed itself.
And even though I am in no way a fan of the US and their choices, I'm worried about it's inhabitants.
GeminEye86 3 years ago
If the US said "NO" to some of these items, I would have not problem with that. Since you view the US as just another country, fine, handle your own problems in the future. Don't call us we'll call you.
Geographer76 3 years ago
... and there is definitely no way the US has sufficient supplies for just domestic drilling. Like it or not, the US is highly dependant on oil and cannot get all of it within their own borders.
GeminEye86 3 years ago
In regard to Al Queda, they are irrelevant. The U.S. has tolerated them. If the politicians in the U.S. (and other countries) would study history, and treat the Islamofacists as we treated NAZIs, we would merely carpet bomb the entire middle east, just as we did the cities of Germany, that would end AlQueda.
My worry as far as Iran (another M.E. Islamic power player) goes is that if they get and use nukes, our leaders won't have the guts to respond in kind, vaporizing Teheran.

Regional stability... to... ?
Oh, right, stability is good for the petrol price. Instability causes it to rise.
Almost lost it myself. Pfew.
Regardless, whether the initial goal and the actual outcome are different doesn't matter.
Keep in mind also that 'Regional stability' and 'democracy' are politically suitable comments, whereas 'controlling our oil supply' is far less politically acceptable.
Last pt: there is no way for the US to switch to native oil as fast as you suggest...
GeminEye86 3 years ago
The oil crusade implies that we are there merely for oil and not regional stability. I don't give a rats ass about Iraq or the oil. I would prefer we drill in ANWR and remove ourselves from the world oil market and use our own. Then the rest of the world can worry about the middle east.
As for the "outrageous oil company profits." Review the profit margin, the profit margin of today is no higher than it was in 2000. The government actually makes more profit than the oil companies.
Geographer76 3 years ago
And mind you, there is really no need at all for another terrorist attack on the US, because that country is moving exactly how Al´Qaida wants it to as it took up the role of agressor.
Really, Iraq's only (possible) profit is oil. End of story. And now all militia and terrorist cells in the Middle East confirm: 'see, they attack us, they ARE against us!'
You don't like politics, but politicians control your employer. So you voluntarily went on an oil crusade. Congrats mate.
GeminEye86 3 years ago
Well mate, I'm not an American - so firing democrat abuse is really useless.
Secondly, when you engage in discussion it adds to your credibility if you come back to the arguments made, and not avoid them when there is no ready answer.
"The current war started in 2003. Get a clue."
A war starts with the first offensive move. Simple as. There is no 'current' war, there is just the Iraq conflict.
"In war zones, the military does security"
Did I mention war zones < pres' security? Nope.
GeminEye86 3 years ago
If the war started (in your mind) in 2001, then you must buy into the idea that 9/11 was backed by Iraq? Now If you want to talk about Iraq Conflict, it would take us back to 1991. So you have my permission to call the start of the war whenever you like, it makes no difference to me.
Geographer76 3 years ago
Then you mention the Presidential security, since I have been in war zones and seen first hand who guards the President, and my comments, which you alluded referred to war zones, I must conclude that you are not paying attention, and my facts are correct.
Geographer76 3 years ago
Sorry I didn't read your mind and put in all the data that you feel is pertinent, but tough shit, "life be that way sometimes". I answered what I felt like answering, and you don't get to dictate what I say, even though you leftists prefer to have that ability.
BTW, we had an attack on 9/11, but none since, so yes we are safer.
The current war started in 2003. Get a clue.
Geographer76 3 years ago
To top it off, the army doesn't protect American presidents. The Secret Service does.
Get your facts right.
GeminEye86 3 years ago
As to your comment about protecting the Pres.? In war zones, the military does security. If the Secret Service wants to take on a foreign military, they are welcome to try.
Geographer76 3 years ago

GeminEye86 3 years ago
4. Voluntarily being forced into Army service because of the deplorable state of America and its availability of jobs, I can hardly call that voluntary.
GeminEye86 3 years ago
Yes, voluntary. I live near a military base. few of the kids here, even though they come from military families, are going into the military, some do, but not the majority. My own sons both volunteered, one went to Iraq, one was rejected due to medical issues, both are out of service now and working at jobs in the local community. Neither is at a loss for work.
Geographer76 3 years ago
slinkey,
Your fact need some updates.
Geographer76 3 years ago
Obama is a lame pinhead, I served in the military, voluntarily and honorably. Obama talks about military service as only one of two choices a right wing person can have for service. The next time Obama needs security when he goes to a foreign country he can call on Blackwater to do his security. If I were charged with his security, I would think long and hard before putting myself in harms way for his safety. Obama is a self serving jerk.
Geographer76 3 years ago
Really? He is self serving? Is that why he care's so much about the soldiers lives that he is trying to get them out of there, unlike keeping them in a war that we have been losing for the past 7 years? And not to mention that we have been killing innocent citizens of Iraq.
superslinkey 3 years ago
Self serving?? You are a IDIOT!!!!! LIKE ALL THE REST OF EM
pag3 3 years ago
Yes, "Self Serving"! Have you considered why a man would spend millions of dollars of other peoples money to get a job that pays less than half a million per year? It is because he craves the power of the position! He wants to give money to the poor, but is he asking that they earn it? No, he simply takes it from those who work for living to give it to those who do not. Why? Because it gives him power over the lives of those to whom he gives the money.
Geographer76 3 years ago

GeminEye86 3 years ago
The fall actually started with the "Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)." in 1977, written by a Democrat Congress and signed into Law by Carter. This law was increased in power by Clinton in 1995. It has now come to a head and the system crashed under a DNC run Congress.

EscapeNewJersey 3 years ago
Anonymous is hardly a "campaign operative" of any sort... they're straight-up anarchist - way beyond the sphere of simple politics. And I will submit to you that the GOP has been more of a proponent of invasion of personal privacy as of late than any internet collective of hackers could ever be.
tyleratl 3 years ago
No, they where Obaba operatives. Obama will do anything to muscle his way into the presidency.
EscapeNewJersey 3 years ago
Okay, we weren't discussing Obama's level of desire for the presidency. I was attempting to have a discussion based on facts, or at least the most factual information available. If you can point to any substantive evidence that Obama's campaign had any role whatsoever in the Palin email hack by Anonymous, I'd be glad to have a look and discuss it. But making unsubstantiated blanket statements based on our like or dislike of a candidate is not only unintelligent, it's... uncool.

The fall the the housing industry got started with Clinton passing a bill in 1999 that allowed people how have no money do to their own stupidity to buy homes they can't afford!
EscapeNewJersey 3 years ago
The bill you are speaking of is the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, which was authored by Republicans Phil Gramm and James Leach. Phil Gramm, who recently called those who are concerned with the state of the economy a bunch of whiners, is John McCain's self admitted chief economic advisor. Gramm authored the bill that bailed out the subprime mortgage lenders and then went to work as a lobbyist for USB. McCain thinks this guy's an economic genius. For billionaires maybe.
daddymak8 3 years ago
wrong daddymak8!
EscapeNewJersey 3 years ago
By the way daddymak8, most hedge funds that are hardly regulated are doing far better than the highly regulated and lard banks and insurance companies that a failing on a daily basis now!! The government regulation makes them puppets for liberal politics!! Also, Lehmann Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, etc etc. has donated far more to the Obma campaign than to the McCain campaign. Many liberals, contrary to public belief, run these types of firms (many Jews).
EscapeNewJersey 3 years ago
No, I'm 100% right. The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act is what allowed for the bailout of subprime mortgage lenders. That's why these hack lenders are under FBI investigation. It's a good thing that there have been Democrats to hold the presidency, because if there weren't, who would you asshole Republicans blame everything on.

Another mess born in the Clinton days (like the Clinton Recession) that Democrats pretend magically appeared when Bush took office.
EscapeNewJersey 3 years ago
There is no Clinton recession. He left W with 32 straight quarters of economic growth, in addition to two quarters of growth left by his father, who hates his guts. 34 straight quarters of economic growth, that's what W inherited. Bush sunk the economy with his 2001 tax rebate by spending money that we didn't have. Bush owns this recession, no one else.
daddymak8 3 years ago
Well, since you don't have a finance degree and I do from a top ten business school, I will educate you. Clinton did nothing to benefit the economy, the economic growth was the fraud of the Internet bubble that burst. Just like the current liberal generated mortage financial disaster has nothing to do with deregulation. It has to do with a liberal congress forcing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to give loans to people that are unworthy for votes, banks bought these mortgage securities and failed.
EscapeNewJersey 3 years ago
Well, since you don't have an ounce of either common sense or objectivity, and I do, I'll educate you. George Bush inherited 32 straight quarters of economic growth from Bill Clinton. He also inherited a record surplus, that he depleted in 2001 to give a tax cut that the money wasn't there. He was also the president when the economy went into the tank. And he's also the president that racked up a record deficit and record home foreclosures and lost half million jobs.
daddymak8 3 years ago
You are merely a gormless twot who does nothing but repeat the talking points that you heard on Rush Limbaugh an hour before. The bottom fell out on Bush's watch. And Democrats have razor thin majoritites in bith the House and Senate, so nothing gets done without a bipartisan consensus since Bush still has veto power and has gotten his way the vast majority of the time. And let me tell you something, the majority of Democrats in Congress are moderate to conservative.
daddymak8 3 years ago
Bullshit, Democrats control the Congress and sets the agenda. Bush has no control over the purse strings because he is president. This financial collapse is the latest failed attemot by liberals to transfer wealth from worthy to unworthy people as a ploy to get votes and support illeagal aliens until amnesty kicks in and the liberal get several million more instant welfare dependent voters. We all know its true, even you!
EscapeNewJersey 3 years ago
Oh, you mean the illegals that were let into the country and offered a pathway to citizenship under a bill that was written by John McCain? Congress vote on what the president sends them. They do not have large enough majorities to override a Bush veto, so in the end, he gets what he wants. That is a fact. And your latest post is just the typical Republican babble. The majority of people on public assistance do not vote, that is a fact. So keep showing your stupidity and posting bullshit.

Present votes are COMMON PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURAL manuevers in Illinois. They are used as a means similar to the filibuster, which John McCain has taken part in 90 times during this congresional session.
