  • Hi Karakorak, I'm assuming that WorldIrish asked her to do a greeting because she's one of the most significant forces in Irish-made music, widely accoladed and awarded etc. She performs extensively and has a large fan-base. She composes, produces, conducts and arranges all of her music and she runs her own label. Recently her fans and followers pledged 24K Euros to her for the making of her next album on Fundit. I also saw her last album feature in '101 Irish Albums to hear before you die'

  • Can anyone explain why this video exists? What is the point of it? Why does this woman show herself riding an escalator (mis-stated as an "elevator")? Why is she showing us the street behind her? Why should we care about her greetings? The context hints that she may be some kind of performer, but why should anyone care?
