  • sos 2:30 lool

  • awesome n 0:30 :D nazi's

  • are mantis easy to breed?

  • @farmerz245 Depends on species. Some are very skittish, some are very aggressive, and others are just not willing. I have a breeding pair of adult Popa spruca that are very skittish. Its immposible to keep them in one spot. Also dont believe that after courtship the female eats the males head. This happens very rarely.

  • you have everything BUT an arachnid!........ (scorpion, spider, etc)

  • Swaztica 3:20 (idk how to spell)

  • nice mantis collection

  • What have you stretched over the top of the mantis cup things?

  • @hugo123390 :) becuase i like them a lot!!!

  • hey, where can i get some gongylodes and orchid mantid oothecas?

  • @Shoryuken87 hi buddy! as for gongylus i dont know! people generally hatch them and then try to sell them as if they where gold! i would go for buying some 3rd instar + nymphs and raising them buy yourself! if you need some help then ask away!

As for hymenopus oothecae, give it a couple of months and fingers crossed, i will be able to sort you some! ;)

  • @igrith666 have you your heart set on gongylus gongylodes or would there cousin idolomantis diabolica do? if so, try martin goss!

  • Can you make a video on how to breed them so well.

  • @chotch69 Thanks. I'm fascinated with mantis's and would love to keep and breed them as well as you do.

  • @Dreamstate7711 I should also have a website up and running soon!! I intend to have both basic and advanced keeping '' caresheets'' ;)

  • @chotch69 Link the website please?

  • @ShinySnivy9000 I am a biologist! A botanist and an entomologist! hons! but my profession is a jeweler! And i don't care what you think! As you're a minor and you are very unlikely to achieve what i have in my life.

And 2, You keep animals for the same reason i do, probably! fascination!

Cant you think of something positive to say? I think you are trying to grow up to fast buddy! you will end up very unhappy! :) (you know nothing of my life, look at the video date?!?!?)

  • frickin swatstica under ur bearded dragons wtf?

  • @TheProPeoples yeah, its to shit on!

  • Its to defecate(shit) on.

  • nazie bearded dragons

  • @MultiMasterskater Defecating on an image of Hitler would seem to me, the opposite of nazi?? dont you think?

  • ahh yes, two rare third reich dragons!

  • thank to you not for us we enjoyed watching all you insects a reptiles, i m matids lover, i have two matids and i found it very hard to feed and when i saw you video you really shocked me ;) good cntinuation.

  • @canaress thanks man. what knid of mantis did you keep?

  • @igrith666 i keep only a green mantis which i found in our garden, they are so nice creatures.

i bought 4 idolomatis diabolica when they arrive they stooped them and they refuse to give them to me

i was crazy but i couldn t do anything well next time i ll hide them and brought them secretly.

i loved your Gongylus gongylodes mantis. do you have some idolomatis??

    thanks Sir for responding.

  • @canaress I dont have any idolomantis no. I wish i did!!! I will have to get some sooner or later, but as you know, they are expencive and hard work. I wonder what species the green mantis you kept was? What country did you find it in? Maybe i could tell you? Sounds harsh about having your idolo's confiscated. I would of been in a state!!!

  • @igrith666 take a look and tell me what is this kind of mantis i live in Morocco.

  • Your collection is the most impressive I have ever seen. I'm jealous.

  • @ReptileMasterProd thankyou. Its different now. as that was a few years ago now.

  • :) cool!

  • I just found a mantis in my tomato plant, nearly drowned it with the water hose by accident. It's in a critter keeper now. Hmm...I have to find a better place to let it go back to the wild. Nice collection. I don't think I'd have the stomach for that many bugs in one place haha.

  • @VektrumSimulacrum nice! what kind? is it a Chinese mantis or a native american mantis?

  • @igrith666

It's a native species. I still haven't found a suitable place to release it yet. It seems to be content though. I gave it some live flies. Eats no problem.

  • @igrith666 i have to admit, if i was you, i couldnt release it. lol . mind you, we dont get any mantis in england. so i guess it would be like finding an adder or a badger for you. lol :) so isn n it a basic green looking mantis. carolina species? they are far more of a find than the chinese introduced (tenodera).

  • Hey were do u get the mantis's

  • @cwdbd online shops occasionally and mostly forums! ken the bug guy in the usa? mantisforums.co.uk and bugnation.co.uk. are good british forums. just look. but avoid ebay. unless your a cash splasher!

  • @cwdbd i bought them Online, but be cafeful whome you buy from! make sure its at least 3rd instar, L3.

  • @igrith666 what does 3rd instar L3 mean, i always see people say L3

  • @mikeanaro20 Hi buddy, First instar and L1 is the same thing. It is incorrect to use ''L''. A first instar is a hatchling. It sheds its skin once to become a 2nd instar. Every time it sheds it moves up. male mantis become adult at 7th instar (6 sheds) and females become adult at 8th instar (7 sheds) they dont shed after that. Hope that halps buddy! :)

  • @mikeanaro20 ''L'' stand for lueven i beleive. which is german for something like ''stage'' or ''level''.

  • mantids are cool please make a vid all aboute them and the types of them and the care pleaes please i subbed too

  • were do you get your Mantis from?

  • @TheLizardboy12

bungnation.co.uk and ukmantis forums. if your in america then try ken the bug guy

  • what are the critters @ 2:07?

  • did u catch the animals or buy them?

  • @11mymomrocks no buddy :) in england the wildlife is somewhat boring and grey. i got most of them from bug nation.

  • cool video...

  • i have mantids as well..great and interesting pets...and i want yer monitor..hes so friggan cute lol

  • has you eva got bit by mantis if not dont it hurts like a bitch

  • @rcplane56 yup. it definatly makes you jump

  • @rcplane56 yeah. i got pinched really bad once. the sharp end popped through my finger tip.

  • nice inverts

  • i really like your mantis collection. Where did you get them?

  • @SuperReptilelover bugnation.co.uk or com ???

  • i used to keep macleys spectre have you tried flying the males theyre great flyers used to glide aroung the lining room lol

justhold them by the base of their wings and they start flapping then let go, or give them some gentle encorougement

  • @firebelliedfreak cool! my males never lasted long enough. i had a fire and lost the lot

  • Haha, nazi reptiles;) I'm just joking.

Nice collection you have gotten there.

Oh yeah, can't wait for tomorrow; I'm going to buy 10 fruit bills and 2 different species of Mantis, WOOOO, can't wait xD

+ I have 19 Stick Bugs and some mealbills.

I don't think I know to spell it correctly, but I also have around 50 - 70 Stick Bug eggs, you know, the green ones... Ummm.

    Medaroidea I think.

  • @LOidos2000 cool buddy! iy theye are anything like Carausius morosus stick insects then you might want to find something that eats them. i went from 10 to well over 1000 in one generation. if i where to al of collect the eggs of the ''1000'' and the where to breed in a simular ratio then you would have 100,000 nymphs(babies). bit much??? lololol my rat loves them. (never ever feed through cage) EVER!

  • @igrith666 Your rat eats insects too? I feed mine caterpillars, crickets and roaches. :P

  • @SlenderTroll heheheeh! they love em eh? my rat now bites because i fed them to her the the bars. so now she strikes at the bars. other than that. i dont understand why people give rodents seeds to eat as, in the wild they eat mostly insects.

  • @igrith666 For her typical food, I never have put seed mix in it. I put a mix of dog food, collard greens, apples, and put overused cuttle bones from my bird in her cage. Yea. Seeds aren't good for any rodent, really. I have never considered feeding them what they get fed in pet stores (seeds and corn). I will occasionally give mine a few sunflower seeds as treats, but definitely not a hearty meal for them. Insects are pretty much an every other day thing cos I gotta go shopping for my reptiles.

  • Respond to this video... what mantis you getting and whats a fruit bill?

  • cool. thanks. :)

  • what do u feed mantis?

  • i buy maggots from the fishing tackle shop and pupate them. I give them a stapple diet of flies. i try too variate there diet as much as posssible though. The will pretty much eat anything the can over power. I give them meal worms, house spiders, moths etc I tend to stay away from crickets as they can share deseases. : )
