benoit wasn't a cruserweight even in WCW. You gotta go with either Rey or Juvi Juice out of the WCW Crusers. Now if the Q was which smaller guy changed it then Benoit would have a shout but i don't think he had the impact in WCW on the fans like Rey did on his early timein the company. thats my opinion anyway. Pillman did well but i don't think he changed anyones view really.

You can see someone taking a sign away from a fan during Lita's last match & the sign was praising Lita. God I was pissed off. I so wanted to push that sign stealing prick in the nuts. On the wrestling greatest secrets show they say wrestling promotions gives the signs to the fans at the show. I think websites are giving fans a taste of TNA & ROH cuz they are still new & the internet is helping them get more exposure to all wrestling fans.

gotta diagree on the tag question, Eddie and Chavo, Angle/Benoit Edge and Rey had some unbeleavable tag matches on smackdown after "The TLC Teams" broke up. I would consider them main event teams

but I would consider them "Tag Teams" either as they were two main event stars thrown together with the exception of Los Guerreros, but Eddie was already a big name in the WWE at the time. Tag teams often start their careers as tag teams and either break off into singles wrestlers or forever stay a tag team like Team 3D/Dudley Boyz.

i didnt mean so much those teams, but that time period, they were indeed just mish mash tag teams thrown together, but at that time the WWE's tag division and the matches these guys had, were main event level

thats true, they were having great matches but when talking about tag team wrestling you have to be able to get a real team over as the core of your division like AMW was for so long in TNA. We all knew that those teams weren't going to last since they were just thrown together. I think I would rather see a team that is going to stick around for years and dominate as well as help put over other teams.

Yea, but a lot of those teams were singles superstars or up and coming superstars (and not in the WWE way, I mean actual superstars) and they just kinda put them in tag teams to get them over more, you knew they wouldn't last.

But some of those matches were great, I must admit.

Now that i think about it, WWE probably shouldn't have done the WCW Invasion at all.

I mean they didn't have Hogan, Hall, Nash, Sting, Flair, Goldberg, Steiner, or anybody else that would have made it work. I knew it was dead the second they made Steve Austin the leader of WCW

And if you don't have the talent to pull it off, then they shouldn't have even done it, and instead should have just introduced the WCW talents they kept over time until the brand split.

If Kurt Angle had never gone to TNA, Joe would have definitely gotten the World Title much sooner, probably as soon as the end of 2006 to Slammiversary 07 being the latest.

Plus if Angle never showed up, you'd have Sting, Steiner, Nash, & Booker actually talking for themselves rather than hiding behind Kurt being all silent.

Tag Team Division died in the WWE with the brand split. By the time they were done making up both rosters, the only real tag team they had left was Billy & Chuck....yuck.

Since then they've had some great teams like MNM, WGTT, Cade & Murdoch, & more recently DiBiase & Rhodes, but they always fuck them over or break them up way too soon.

I agree, the brand split killed the tag team division and we have had some exceptional tag teams but they have all missed each other by months or years or just haven't stuck around long enough to really mean anything.

HBK has had a reputation in the past (circa early to mid 90s) of being a jerk to others and trying to keep himself above everyone else (same arguement for HHH) but since his religious break through he has been more of a locker room leader and always tries to put over the other talent in the ring.
