The Man who's behind pretty much all the photos of Sopor Aeternus is some what of a friend of mine & I doubt he can really even explain Sopor Aeternus! I loved the music & imagery the first time I saw & heard anything! Very few groups have been able to hook me in like that!

I fell in love with that song when i heard it the first time. The melody returns a lot of memories, feelings, dreams... Anna wrote this song to describe her own state and the listener gets this message only with his soul and heart. However, we know what her interviews and her music that she has suffered emotionally due to many things--the tragic loss of her husband, isolation, self-hatred, depression. You don't have to be homeless or dying to be unhappy. There are many other things, psychological things, that can make life pretty crappy.
You are right, there is more than physical ailments and crappy situations that can make one feel bad. But what does Anna have to complain about? None of you even know if Anna even experienced what she claims she did. It all is alledged and speculated from interviews. Anna is making money, being worshipped by fans though she may not deserve it, and living a relatively comfortable life compared to millions of people all over the world . Psychological pain can ALWAYS be overcome, mind over matter.
It is true we don't have any definite knowledge, but given that we can't say anything is false.

If this person wanted to get past those feelings (which I seriously doubt this person has, I believe this is all a ploy for attention) they could be over them by now. I fell in love with that song when i heard it the first time. The melody returns a lot of memories, feelings, dreams... Anna wrote this song to describe her own state and the listener gets this message only with his soul and heart. And that has nothing to do with suicide or selfdestruction like many stupid ppl think... And sometimes you need this kind of music to feed your soul. Well, yes, she obviously CAN afford food, otherwise she wouldn't have the strength to do what shes does. However, we know what her interviews and her music that she has suffered emotionally due to many things--the tragic loss of her husband, isolation, self-hatred, depression. You don't have to be homeless or dying to be unhappy. There are many other things, psychological things, that can make life pretty crappy.
