This is not a home button replacement/fix this is entire flex cable replacement. My home button is working but not as it should be. Do i have to change the entire flex for that ?
I've done this and at least the home button and speaker work correctly. However, iTunes does not recognize the iPhone and it does not charge. However, the iPhone will turn on when I plug it in. I have checked my work and it looks at least ok. The soldering was hard and i may have burnt the chip just below the cable to the speaker (L6). Might this be the problem?
@resitm well, no not really. I tried replacing the cable for the dock connector/home button/mic etc twice and both times the dock connector didn't respond.. i'm sure I just was breaking the cable somehow putting it back in, it must be fragile. I decided to sell it but before I did I tested with an uninstalled flex cable, and it did work... so yeah, your cable just must be broken.
try to get one with the mic/speaker soldered on as it is pretty tough to solder those tiny leads.

Any audio would help. Even if it is in French or Flemish/Dutch.
