I can see room for the argument that growing pains is a kind of human suffering that is justified because it is amoral. But, if we have the means to alleviate the pain in a healthy way, it's our moral obligation to do so. If there is an all-powerful god (who communicates to humanity, "I am compassionate"), this god has not responded to this moral obligation.
