One of our bands "colour" gave their album at the time to Oliver after a APTBS gig in nyc.....we were wondering if he ever gave it to you guys......they were very influenced by you.

The Jesus and Mary chain were far from original when it comes to shoe gaze, post punk, goth rock, or the many other sub genres that can be attached to bands of similar nature.

Besides, even if it WERE a "ripoff," why would that be so bad? I enjoy listening to Interpol and the Editors BECAUSE I am a fan of Joy Division, I liked The Darkness because they reminded me of Cinderella and Dokken, and I like Kingdom Come even though the singers vocal style is a Zeppelin "ripoff."
