Athiests have a bases of evolution, the main principle in evolution is, all humans are made from water. This fact was mentioned in the Quran 1400 years ago, centuries before the birth of charles darwin. Among other scientific facts, of the origin of the universe, embryology, and hundreds more, the quran also contains prophecies which came true. The prophecies of the prophet muhammad protaining to recent events have come true, and historical events. One cannot just ignore all this as coincedence.

Ok, so they knew all these facts, but generally in the past muslim state were more technologically advanced in the middle ages, e.g. they had better ship design. But religious books are not about science. Just because it has scientific facts does not mean that their religion is correct. But the facts are also extremely vague. And finding the earth to be round? 1in2 chance. Round or flat. someone was bound to guess it.
