I used to not like Megadeth (Dave's vocals) but one day i decided to listen to them and had no problem and damn it im glad i did. I went out and bought this album (remastered unfortunately) and have listened to it to death. This riff on this song is one of my favorites ever. I still like Metallica more but DAMN IT Megadeth kicks ass!

Okay I don't know how I missed this...This was the first megadeth song I liked at first and all I kept hearing was bitching about the remastered and the only differences I knew personally was five magics lyrics but somehow I managed not to note that the singing on the original version of this song along with the others is FUCKING PERFECT!

@tehlatino1 Yes, Megadeth is the best band ever, all you have to do is listen to the first couple albums and if your a fan of metal then will instantly love this band. Megadeth is VERY underrated, especially when compared to metallica. But sales dont mean anything when it comes to musical greatness, and that is what Megadeth is, great music and hopefully Chris broderick decides to stay around for a LONG time, because in my opinion he is just as good , IF NOT better than Marty and Chris Poland

But Whos Buying near the end of the year like Megadeth said they were going to do. PSBWB isnt quite AS good as RIP but is definately VERY VERY close. The top two Megadeth albums of all time. PSBWB and RIP are probably not only the best Megadeth albums but the best metal albums of all time, and im a fan of ALOT of metal.

Please don't hate me for this but I think this album is so overrated. I mean, apart from "Holy Wars", "Hangar 18", and "Tornado of Souls" the other songs are quite mediocre. They're good, but nowhere near on par with those three and songs like "Poison Was the Cure" and "Dawn Patrol" are awful.

Actually, that's a pretty fair comment. Metallica does seem to have stronger songs than Megadeth, despite their current shittiness. 'And Justice For All', which came out a year before Rust In Peace was also quite technical, having the same 'progressive edge' present in this one albeit one that went in a different direction. I love Megadeth, but unfortunately Metallica's first 5 have the upper hand on Mustaine's samey-though-awesome sounding shit.

It's actually not nearly as complex as it sounds. It's just a fuckload of hammer-ons and pull-offs over 3 frets and an open string. They sound fucking fast but it's half the effort as half the picking's involved, even a quarter sometimes. They're pretty basic techniques, one of the first things you learn when you start guitar. And musically/harmonically, the riff is pretty fucking simple. 4 notes with one dominating. Finito. Gotta love it though!
