To those saying it's the mic's feedback, it's 'not' the mic that's doing it. That's the interference from the power supply in the system. Using a USB mic can solve that relatively easily. If it were the mic's feedback, depending on the severity of it, there could be an endless echo of vocal recording.
I enjoyed this whisper. It was just enough feedback that I didn't really understand what was said but could tell there was speaking. Maybe I'm weird but I prefer it that way.
What kind of mic are you using? I've made a few whisper videos myself (that I have yet to upload) using my headset and there is next to no background noise:) Good video btw

pslayvins is right and you are too. pslayvins was only saying that the volume of your whispering relative to the background noise must be seriously considered with whispering. Maybe I am a perfectionist? the SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) or in laymen terms, whispering volume to noise volume ratio must be as high as possible. Take this into consideration all whisperers please. (: I can't relax without running this through a noise filter.

Not trying to be mean, but honestly it's agitating when listeners tell me how I should do something, what i should talk about, etc. It takes time to do these, ( in some cases you have to edit them) so when people complain it just seems kinda backwards to criticize when we (whisperers) are doing things to help you ya know?

I just try and leave my mark so that other whisperers at least take what I say into consideration, and a little bit of education about sound. Some people might think that they need to spend money or a great deal of time to reduce noise, but you don't. A few minutes or less than a minute spent in a program like GoldWave and the noise is gone.

I dont know what programs folks use to record their stuff but I do mine on Final Cut just cuz i'm a video editor so it's easier for me to do that. Plus I like to see the sound wave since I'm visual and all that. Also random tid bit, my background is broadcasting (radio/tv) so I actually know a lot about sound, but it's just not a priority with the vids unfortunately for you guys. Sorry. maybe in the future I'll put more effort into it.

dude you're whispering soo quietly here.. it's perfect. it's annoying when people whisper in a loud stage whisper for these videos.. it kills the intimate voice-in-your-ear thing. the background noise also helps to make your voice kinda fade in and out and really pop every now and then, which brings on those elusive chills big time. you have such a great whisper. i just found you today and i'm a big fan already!!

I think because I saw the comment about the background noise I paid attention to it at first, but after half a minute it just fades out and becomes part of the ambience. This video is brill, I love the idea of a whispering mental massage, and I was nearly drifting off while sat bolt upright! Thanks :-)
I personally don't mind the audio hum, but if you do want to manipulate your audio after the fact, there are freeware plug-ins for hiss/noise reduction that are available online. Just Google search free audio noise reduction.
HI, new to whisper community, I myself have done a meditation vid with whispering and I had my fan on behind me, I felt it helped with white noise as I use it every night. I almost feel I am being loud whispering without it lol. I love your vid, thanks.
@maistrooismi i personally like the background noise in whisper videos, i dont like the whisper to sound too loud because it doesnt sound natural like that, lucky for you there's a ton of whisperers out there with different styles, different microphones and recording devices so there's somethin' for everyone :)

The only complaint I have is that I can't hear it XD I'm sure it's great, but with my crappy headphones :/ I can't understand some of it. That'll change though, I'm hoping for a good pair of headphones in two months when I turn 18 >:)
