The Shirt finished with real pearl buttons.

Again it was about fine details at that time. It was a bit expensive but this was how we were

kicken it. Women loved it.

which dropped onto a pair of Cole Haan perforated capped toe Balmorals in

black.

Topped with a cool white Polo RL button down in Egyptian (NOT Pima) cotton.. The Egyptian cotton was

awesome on the body and do to its very smooth albeit fibrous character the seams and stitches were immaculately precise and perfectly flat; the shirt looked almost seamless when well pressed.

Well dressed in Flares??? 70's maybe.

The 80's required not being 'well dressed' but dressing with detail and discipline for example: a pair of Polo Ralph Lauren "Remsins" which was a ‘stove pipe cut’; we say today 'straight cut' with side pull tabs no belt loops. The waist band was tailored. You needed a “six pack” for this cut of Polo RL slacks which was very popular at this era. The slack finished with a 4" cuff...French only!
