Hey Scooby I watched a video on youtube today which appeared legitimate stating an ectomorphs metabolism actually 'increases' in response to an increase in calories in their daily diet as your body becomes "more efficient at burning calories". Is this true?? I have a fast metabolism and if this is the case it seems hopeless for us?
Ive been training for about a year and a half now and have eaten more as a result, will my metabolism eventually catch up with my weight gains? thanks in advance!
Scooby, I did this and I notice my biceps are A LOT bigger now this week... I think I finally broke through the plateau. But my question for you is, when is the next time I should include Drop Sets in my work-outs again? About a month from now? I feel like I want to do Drop Sets again Next week but it's bad to do it more than once a month?

I have to do shakes. I cut down to about 215 right now to be more ripped for summer. Still Im taking 225 grams of protein per day and about 100 is from shakes. I'm too busy to prepare 6-7 meals and drag them around. Get good quality and shakes make life easier.

@smellymundelly96 In the last 7 days I have done 14 hours of high intensity cardio and 6 hours of weightlifting. The cardio has been hill climbing on bike and running.
@TheMrPappi running is cardio, can't be that much responsible of overtraining, unless you push yourself too much without getting enough rest and you don't eat enough. i personally was running every day and doing weight training after, and i saw my muscles shrink, and then i figured out i was something more than overtraining, but it was due to lack of sufficient sleep.
Hi scooby been a big fan of your videos for sometime but i do have one question. I have a large frame and feel my arms are to small to match my chest and the rest of my body. How do i go about making one muscle group larger without having to stop working on the rest of my body. I currently do one muscle group a day. I feel that doing biceps or triceps more than onces a week will defeat the purpose by not allowing them to fully grow and thus doing more of a toning. What do i do?

Hi Scooby regarding drop sets with dumbbells, couldnt you leave like a 5lb weight handy so when you are dropping the set, just take the 5lb and fit it through the handles on top of the spin lock? since you're holding the dumbbell vertically, the extra 5 lb won't fall out and you could still achieve the 40%. To put the 5lb on top of the spin lock would only take max 5 seconds. Do you think that will work?

@MrCherryKirsche DOMS is soreness but it also limits flexibility and function. it may indicate that you may have worked hard but having it prolonging isn't going to be "better." For people who have to do sports the 4-7 days our muscles are sore are going to affect our performance. I gave up bodybuilding b/c the soreness of my whole body got in the way of my performance in competition

@Tautologically If Scooby has a wife and kids then he's a freakin super hero. Keeping up his site and these videos is like a full time jobs and he already has at least one other full time job as an engineer. I recall him saying he had three jobs in one of his videos.

Scooby, is there any video showing how to do decline press, at my gym there is no bench which will go any further down... is there any way to do decline press without bench (awkward), or no need for decline?

i use dropsets for every workout
i took 10% of the weight off instead of 30 or 40%
i repeated this 5 times to equal one dropset
i started doing this 3 months into my bodybuilding

@MrNicetuber My voice IS rather unique. Its funny, often people spot me on the street by voice alone. Last year at haloween I was completely disguised in my superhero costume, I said one word, and someone turns around and asks if I am the scooby who does vids!

@biozamadotcom he doesnt use a light weight, he uses that weight so he can demonstrate the form properly and talk at the same time. check the chicken press video, at the end he shows how much he lifts in his workouts.
