i believe the anime stops here because they were OAVs, meaning these took more money to make than something out of a television series; in addition, Bastard!! didn't make enough money for them to continue it.

I dont normally watch anime but my friend told me to watch this a while back and I think the characters and story is badass. Bastard has a sense of humor and badass combat.

I dont want to watch gay shit like avatar or yugioh - I want to watch something that would appeal to an older audience.

Np. In my opinion they are better than Beserk. Bastard turned out to be my third favorite anime. My number one would be Death Note. I only thought to mention Death Note and Claymore, since people who like Bastard and Beserk, should have somewhat similar interests. I hope you like them.
