Christians don't celebrate halloween. Halloween is about evil and death. How would Jesus Christ who called us into the light feel about us celebrating darkness. Think about it. Pray about it. God bless.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
you just supported evil with the word of God and you will be held accountable Matthew 7:23 Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' •Revelation 14:11 “the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever and they have no rest day and night”
I'm going to suggest you fundamentalists sit down & shut up, but first leave some nice full bowls of candy out on your porch for the trick or treaters.
Christians MUST hide in a closet or under a bed and pray, PRAY for protection from EVIL SPIRITS! PRAY FOR YOUR VERY SOULS you ignorant, superstitious flock of know-nothings.
Christian parents should take their children to the Fall Festivle or Trunk or Treating at their Church if their Church does that and then later on the kids should be allowed to go Trick-or-Treating so they don't miss out.
Halloween is the pre celebration of the catholic holiday of "All Saints Day."
It has nothing to do with the pagan holiday of Samhain. All Saints day was started in the 3rd century by a catholic pope to commemorate all the saints known and unknown and it was on may 14. All Saints day is also called "All Hallows Day"
It is a day of obligation meaning that mass attendance is required. In europe a tradition grew of celebrating with a feast the evening before this came to be known as All Hallows Eve. Or Halloween. It became tradition for "soul cakes" a sweet bread to be made and for the poor to beg for the soul cakes and promising to pray for the souls of the dead. This is where the tradition of trick or treating began.
Around the 8th century a Pope was commemorating a temple in Rome to all the saints. He also wanted to move All Saints day to the day he sanctified the temple and the day it was ready for sanctification and commemoration was November 1. Thus All Hallows day is November 1. Thus Halloween is October 31.
Samhain is an ancient pagan holiday. It is celebrated the first three days of the pagan month of Samon. This ancient celtic calendar is a lunar calendar meaning that it moves around and never really fully matches up with the solar calendar we use today. Due to a Victorian rewriting history and making ludicrous claims (common in the Victorian era scholars) people have since associated Samhain and the Christian Holiday of All Hallows Eve (halloween)
Halloween is actually an entirely Christian Holiday that has been, in perception only, taken over by a Pagan holiday. This perception is so wide spread that even neo-pagans (wiccans) fully believe that Samhain is one night and always on October 31. This simply isn't true. The two are utterly different holidays and have historically always been separate.
many places prohibit adoption of animals several weeks before Halloween because of the tremendous incident of animal sacrifices. They find remains of and parts of people pets who have been stolen And sacrificed,, body parts cut off and blood drained.. Witches drink hot blood and a worship the devil on Halloween! Search google; animal adoption Halloween halloween is occult and wicked stop it repent ask Jesus to forgive you you have been warned people involved with Halloween will go to hell
@GreatAuntCayce Well said - thats exactly what it is - so many Christians get the wrong idea - it is NOT evil at all. KIds really have fun at this time.
