He does, but I get the feeling that he's sorta making it up as he goes, And I'd rather hear him play it the way he does than some 8 year old Asian. I can tell just by listening this guy FEELS the music, He's having fun with it, making it his own in a way, sometimes the keys he hits works, every now and then they don't, but over all, I feel satisfied listening to him play it, albeit, not perfectly.

Pachelbel wrote the Canon in D - the 'Canon in C' is just a modern arrangement, transposed down a tone and given a more modern edge but george didnt do this in this vid, he made it sounds like funeral

He even commented on his songbook "george winston piano solos" that he plays his song different in concerts compared to how he played them while he was recording. I'm sure he's an accomplished musician but I find this rendition of Pachelbel's Cannon in D VERY heavy handed. He makes it sound more like a funeral march. IMHO this is to be a light, gentle, wings on a butterfly, type of piece.
