Im a flatlander from cleveland... we have very small resorts. ive never shredded in fresh powder.. is it different? like do you have to lean back more so you dont sink in?

@BKILLS186 - You do need to kind of lean back a bit. Having a powder specific board or skis helps a lot. They pop right up on the snow. Get out here and try it for yourself. It's going to dump this weekend.

i love pow mow. only time i ever went it hadnt snowed in a week, found freshies knee deep in i think it's fletcher's bowl and pay dirt, it was a bluebird day until about 2 when it started snowing, we got about 6 inches by the time the lifts closed, did about 6 laps on the timberline chair and every time my line was covered by new snow. wat an awesome place

@Justin3515 Well if you are REALLY rich, and want class (and/or need lessons), go to deer valley or Park city. If you are looking for some serious Pow, go to pow mow, snowbasin, snowbird, solitude. If you are looking for A MASSIVE amount of ski area, go to Canyons. And if you are a intermediate-advanced skier, go to ALTA... In all reality tho, there is no "Bad" place to ski here, It quite literally has "The best snow on earth"...POW EVERYWHERE!

Next year I will be at Pow Mow 99% of the days they are open for the 09-10 season. All winter, every winter for the rest of my life. Its worth workin extra in the summer so i can takeoff and just ride. I went today for their fundraiser they were having, was pretty nice despite the slushiness. Was getting tons of speed, then started snowing and it being 44 degrees caused my board to stick to the snow. if pow mow had the money they have alot of room for expansion on that mountain.

I was there on that day too. January 7, 2008. A day that will go down as one of the best EVER. Best to date without a doubt. Conditions ideal: 2 ft. fresh pow, not too cold, not too hot, no wind, blue skies, no other people in site all day. I'll be boarding more during the week next season at P.M.

I went to this place over christmas break. By far and away the best place I have ever been to, just look at the snow quality, and theres almost no people, so it takes days to get tracked out.
