I agree that casino's make a lot of money and they should pay more, but thats really all irrelevant . What matters here is did the Slot machine actually malfunction. They are computers and computer code and hardware at times can have issues. Then the question becomes if it did happen, how is that the issue of the customer, to me it is not and they should pay fair and square, but they are certainly not obligated to do so by law in any form.

I would like the woman to have her money, yes, but if it specifically said that the max jackpot was $20,000, then that's the deal, and the machine malfunctioned. Just because we have a bad economy, doesn't give the casino an excuse to make up lies in order to avoid payment.
