@edgycorners Thanks for your reply! I was curious to know if Stu Phillips had a hand in this one - I'd already suspected not. In his book, Stu mentions doing the Monkees Songbook album while an A&R exec at Epic Records, amazing how you can hear his 'Hollyridge' sound in the Golden Gate Strings as well. Oorspronkelijk een Western-melody uit de Midden-west van de VS.
heel primitief muziek, maar onsterfelijk. Great, en nodigt uit tot dansen.
Goeie vertolking, ik dacht ook dat gebruikt werd als tune in de jaren 70 door de dj Eddy Becker, maar zeker weten doe ik het niet.
