  • Ever since I've been evaluating my form in lifting I've realised all sorts of inflexibilities I would never have found otherwise, my hips (or lower body in general!) being something crucial to proper lifting that I need to work on. Thanks for this vid, ever since I tried it I've loved the pigeon pose and this helped me perfect it. Cheers

  • this pose stretches alot of areas.. if you hip flexors are tight you will have a harder time getting deep into some parts of this, but it will stretch the hip flexors as well..

  • I am a dancer and could easily do the hip opener stretch; however, whatever muscle the pigeon pose stretches is super tight on me. I would love to know what this means. I do know I have very tight hip flexors. I feel like my lack of flexibility in these muscles has been hindering my dancing. Hopefully you can get back to me! Thanks!
