  • The movie that inspired Heathers.

  • spill.com?

  • I wish I had a friend like David :D then I'd show everybody!

  • lol my high school is named Central high!

  • LONG LIVE THE LEAGUE

  • From the "so bad it's good" category!

It's nice seeing almost every rule of filmmaking so deliciously violated in a single film!

  • hahahahahahaha!

  • Say, what's the next trailer that came afterwards on this?

  • @miseryinanutshell Street Trash, another awesome film.

  • the lovely breasts belong to the late, great Rainbeaux Smith

  • are those boobs at 0:48

  • @hayhaypetey No. But the Eight is Enough chick Lani O'Grady flashes her jugs in this movie...

  • revenge horror dot com has this on dvd-r..look for it in collector's editions..

  • Schoolspoitation!!

  • great movie, raw and cheesy 70's flick. Kimberly Beck is nekid, way hot. she went on to do soap operas in the 80's.

  • Boobies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Did I see tits?

  • yep

  • @BlaculasSmellyFro Yep. Those were Cheryl's.

  • You could not make a film like this today.

  • I have this on vhs and thought it was a cool flick.

  • 2:13 hahahaha I LOVE THAT SHIT ^__^

  • lol saw this movie at my friends sleepover party when we were all 11...we laughed so much we could sleep at all.

  • Same here. I saw this with my older brother when when I 12, right after dinner. HBO didn't have the sense as to what to show and when. I remember that chick from Eight is Enough doing the threeway. lol. Man, that was too much.

  • Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...

  • i been looking for this.

  • A smart and intelligant movie with a profound message. Loved it.

  • what is the profound message exactly?

  • If you spare the rod, then you spoil the child. Once the bullying had been eradicated, it gave a licence for anarchy.. Respect, and do not abuse what you have, is a very profound message. The movie is terriffic, by the way.

  • Have threesomes and kill people. It's a message I've taken through life and it has made me the man I am...

  • I saw this in the theatre when i was about ten years old. It got re-released in 1979. It's as exciting then as it is now.

  • I remember seeing this movie on TBS in the late 90s. Such a classic. I wish TBS would show movies like this again; all they show now is comedy shows 5 days a week, and the movies they show are always the same, except rotated each month. I miss these days of horror classics on tv. *sigh*

  • I just received the dvd in the mail. Disc was manufactured in U.K. from what I can tell, no regional coding. No scenes were cut- I would know, I'm very familar with this film. Picture quality is decent, better than this trailer, at least. Cost me $12.95 plus $3.00 shipping. I've already watched it twice.

  • i just bought a copy of this off ebay

  • This was one of my favs. Such a fun movie to watch.

  • bahaha I love all the random explosions

  • Love this movie. Even Roger Ebert claimed it as one of his favorites.

  • God damn right you don't push David around

  • Way cool trailer for the famous 1976 cheezy sex and violence pic. Extremely rare. You'll pay big bucks for the original VHS on Ebay. To my knowledge, it's never been released on DVD. It's due! Gotta love the bad writing that always went with these drive-in thrillers: Do Unto Others, and Make It Permanent! Very Grindhouse! Thanks for posting! A+++++++++++++++++

  • *Prominent*

  • Pussys, I would kicked all there Preppy asses.

  • Is the quality better on the DVD? It sure as hell better be.

  • is the the movie where the killer chops off a person head and replaces it with a horsehead mask on the body, to fool there friend.

and at the end the students find out the killer is rodney or roger, and every stars dancing doing the mashed pattato and the and acting like dog in the gym.

  • This is one of my favorite films of all time. And I do say, this is quite an interesting trailer. Plus, I also have this classic on DVD, courtesy or RevengeHorror. Ever heard of that company? That was where I finally discovered this gem on their label. Thank God.

  • this movie is now out on dvd

  • Criminally unavailable on DVD in the USA...where is Anchor Blue?

  • Great movie...I think this trailer was narrated by the guy who did "Eli Roth's Thanksgiving" ;)

  • i remember this coming on the movie channel @ 4am (i used to get up early to watch this before i went to school)hahaha!!! i loved this movie

    revenge! revenge! revenge!

  • this is a great movie. you should read danny peary's review of it in his cult movies book. kimberly beck's mom was in i was a teenage werewolf.

  • why is this not available on d.v.d...cult classic.

  • I loved how there were NO cops in the movie asking questions....especially after the locker explosion and the parking lot explosion.

Business as usual and school still in session the next day.....plus they had a dance at the end....like nothing happened.

Young people getting killed left and right....no big deal.

    I always loved this movie.

    Especially Kimberly Beck.....WOW!!!

  • well, you see, back in the 70s you could just blow people up and nobody cared. it was awesome.

  • The last time I saw this was back in the 80's when TBS use to play it at nights. I would love to see this uncut on dvd sometime in the near future.

  • Ah murder and T and A, they don't make em` like they used too lol.

  • Was this off a normal script or some kind of meta-script? How very strange yet normal,lol...

  • Looks good.

    Thanks for putting this on.

    cheers.

  • Ha! This was on tv just last week!

  • it's poopey! but funny.. this trailer takes the piss tho! gives away ALL the best bits!!

  • Thats because this is the film heathers is based on

  • You ever notice just how much this movie is pretty much EXACTLY THE SAME movie as Heathers?

  • David lives by the golden rule: Do un to others and make it permenant. lmao genius

  • yes it is

  • Is that david that gets squished by the car?!?!?

  • a most brutal cult classic

  • 2:13 hahaha.

  • Was on TV Saturday night on Drive-In.

    Love it.

    A classic.

  • Classic tale of vengenace! I love it!

  • right im guna buy this today it looks to good to miss

  • This movie was great. Saw in in the early 80s on HBO. I lke the scene whenre the kid dives in the empty swimming pool and then at the end, that bomb that was supposed to blow up the entire school result in a tiny fire. People come out of the school and say "It's just a little fire" Freakin' hilarious

  • i havnt seen this but i saw the dvd on the hmv website wile looking up other things ive got to buy this

  • Oh. my. God.

I wish I saw this. It looks too manic and insane to miss.

  • a movie that could never be made today.

  • Wow, a trailer approved for all audiences that included two naked boobs (:47) and a male ass and ball shot (1:42)? The 70s were groovy!

  • I got this movie on VHS.

  • LOL what is with the freakin explosions?!

i would like to watch this though.

  • The girl who played Mary Bradford in Eight is enough has a topless scene in this movie. Speaking of topless...

  • This movie is awesome. I had recorded it years ago when it played on TV. I wish I still had it. It's hilarious.

  • Andrew Stevens: acting does not get any worse than this. Great stuff.

  • I saw this movie wo long ago. I wish I could find a copy.

Too bad they didn't show the bullies drive the kid's nash rambler off that 4 foot drop, that was classic!

  • fuck ! this film seems so good !

  • Do alot of people know that the movie HEATHERS with Christian Slater was a remake of this film?

  • Great movie! Everyone at Central High is oblivious. You'd think after one or two murders they'd close school for a few days... and after half a dozen call off the prom. Fantastic.

  • I want this on DVD! I only saw it once (back in the '80s on cable) but it still has a mark on me.

    RIP Lani O'Grady & Rainbeaux Smith ...

  • I cheered every time David cleverly annihilated a bully. My favorite scene was when David had the brute, who terrorized and killed a deaf student, vaporized, after his (the bullie's) locker exploded.

  • I thought David killed the deaf kid by rigging his hearing aid to electrocute him? By the way, David was played by the same guy who played Jughead in an unsold live-action "Archie" pilot. That's the only other thing I ever saw him in. Quite a contrast: a hamburger-loving kid in a silly hat in one and a mass murderer in the other.

  • I recognized David as a character on "Jonie loves Chachy" he was in their band....

  • joder... que pinta más cojonuda tiene esta peli! :D it looks greatly great!

  • A great exploitation film. One thing the trailer doesn't show is the movie deals with the issues of status in high school, and how the social positions exists regardless of who occupies them. Nature abhors a vaccuum, and there's always more people willing to step in and takeover the former superior positions.

  • haha, a fuckin classic! yep i 'member watchin this 3x a week as a kid.when cable was just hbo,movie channel,showtime,and it cost $9.99 a month!

  • i fortunately saw this everytime they played it on hbo in the early 80's.

    a fave.

  • Good trailer! Very hard-edged for a high school film.

  • This is one of the most intelligent exploitation films ever made - a real cult classic.
