If you let him live in Fort Frolic he will be in the apartment as shown in the video, and once he comes down the stairs (and you kill him) you can go upstairs to find a Power to the People weapon upgrade station, which is unattainable if you kill Cohen early in the game.

I killed him early on in Fort Frolic and was able to open the chest. He doesn't appear in his apartment so the door he comes down through stays locked. Is there anyway to open it? Next to the chest there's a vase with a keypad thing on... anyone know the combination? :)

The door only unlocks when Sander goes through it, so you need to let him live in Fort Frolic. If you kill him in his apartment you still get the key and shit so you can go back and loot the shitty chest if you want to. If your playing on PS3 or 360 take a picture of Cohen's corpse for an acheivment or trophy.

Tips to Kill cohen in survivor mode:

First, have a fully upgrade pistol or machine gun and loaded with the special bullets that are used to kill houdini spicers.

Second, have fully researched the houdini splicers.

Third, enter to his apartment and use the grenade launcher to kill the dancers.

Fourth Cohen will come out from the locked door.

Fifth: use the gun (see the first step) and use the elcectro bolt or the wind blast stunt him and aim better.

If you kill him after completing his master piece you won't be able to enter his apartment, and you won't be able to use the Power To The People Machine that's in it. In other words, you had to let him live after completing his masterpiece.
