  • No engine in the truck!

  • They should've kept the precise weight required to mimic an exact recreation of a real event, taking off the heavy engine from that truck will of course blow it away like a toy & won't fit the scale.

  • that truck was like a paper tissue to that plane...........sneeze god bless yu truck

  • thats what you get when missing with the jet!!! the truck thrown out like a piece of paper....

  • Truck: Lalalalalala uh oh AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH *blows into a few pieces* OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Truck: Lalalalalala uh oh AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH *blows into a few pieces*

  • the power a jet engine very threatening to us i wonder what happened to the fire truck when the cheap hunk of metal got blown into the water?

  • Hahahaha chuck norris hair dryer thats hilarious!!!!

  • I saw a B-52 do that to a fully loaded Chevy Step-Van. Rolled the damn thing 1/4 mile down the flightline. The weight don't make a bit of difference. The point is "Don't Do It!!!"

  • just sent the poor stunt-man's car away

  • kick ass! LOL thats 68000+ ft lbs of thrust power for ya

  • Omfg the truck gots cheats!

  • I watched a catering truck drive behind a Leftansa 747 at dfw back in the 90's and it took that truck airborne with taxi thrust only! The truck rolled several times then they had to cut the dazed driver free. He was ok.

  • Damn that truck got fucked up!

  • would love to stand behind one... if i maneged to stay up and not being airborne would the wind of the thrust rip my flash of my bones ?? if thats the case nvm than i dont wanna be behind one

  • Si, todo muy lindo pero la camioneta no tenia el motor, y estaba sin los cristales...

  • it looks like the truckr tried to fly

  • Mythbusters proved that it's true, with a real bus... not a car that can't drive...

  • a stronziiiii

  • Damn I got It OK?!?!

  • Ja heult doch ihr Kackboons xD

  • "Many don't think it can hurt them."

    Who?!?

Who has ever said that? LOL

  • I think they just mean that people expect the thrust to have weakened across the distance of between the engine and vehicle.

  • You all say this is funny.

But I think that no one of you Knows what happened to the Driver of the car.

Seeing People dying is not funny

  • so, not only can you not understand that the narrator said this was i staged demonstration, but you also clearly, cannot see that the truck was empty, and was being towed by a firetruck. Really, did you even watch the video?

  • @2210freestyle1994

Uhhh dude, this was all staged and no one was in the truck >_>

  • Hey dumbass, can you not see the huge letters that say staged demonstration

  • Its people like you that should replicate. Please sterilize yourself and save the humanity from another batch of idiots and morons like you.

  • lol u talk about ppl being so stupid but u messed up your own 1st line.... maybe u should take your advice hahahah

  • And??? Are your father and mother related? Go fuck yourself.

  • Yeah...okay you asian fuck. Maybe you should stop trying to be american...with your english wannabe slang and shit. Go smoke more opium and go fuck Buddha.

  • lol its ppl like you that should replicate 55+ 婊子

  • @2210freestyle1994 there was no F*kn driver it was like somehow pushed

  • Yea, the engine didn't matter I don't think, but why not leave the engine in there for a more accurate demo. But then again, thats why we are becoming a second rate country. We do things half-assed

  • That´s so Incredible!

  • It would do the same thing with or without the engine inside, but it not being there still shows the audience a not so good demo.

Again, it would still blow it away, but they didn't need to take the engine out.

  • Well there are not many scenarios I can think of where ground service vehicles would be driving behind jet engines at that sort of thrust. Around terminals and taxiing, jets are usually just at taxi idle or breakaway thrust which 4/5 of fuck all compared to the demo.

  • it not havy inaff

  • Weight has less to do with it than surface area. A bus exposed to this type of wind velocity would be blown further than a small care.

  • Well overall they're even.

It's not one or the other it's the ratio of weight to surface area.

  • pfft... @ 1:15, you can clearly see the truck doesnt even have an engine, not that it would make that much difference, but still... cheap demo... may as well use a kite

  • Like they said, if it will lift a 870,000 lb. airplane, a 4000 lb pickup is nothing! The engine in the truck is only about 700 lbs.

  • lol

  • @BadB0Ydaddy Dont think the engine would do any difference, just think they took out the engine so there will be no oilspill in the ocean.

  • @BadB0Ydaddy so true man

  • @BadB0Ydaddy its just a couple more weight on it It doesnt really matter

and they dont want any explosions in the water

  • @magamka since whens did anyone in US stop enjoy blowing shit up...

bottom line is, its a half ass'd test and i did say that it wouldnt make any difference if it did have an engine... doesnt mean it also had to have full tank of fuel... but it wouldve been a tad more exciting if it did :)

  • @BadB0Ydaddy Maybe that's why it says 'Staged Demonstration' twit!

  • @algolake The clip saying saying 'staged demonstration' would be more so drama queens like yourself dont think someones actually in the truck , smashed around and about to drown etc... my point was basically that the truck is way lighter than its meant to be, thus being thrown around more dramatically. What appears to be a truck is only a rolling shell Vs a jet engine. Get it?

  • WOW!

The truck was blowed away just like a soft drink can.

  • i watched this video at work.

  • good for you

  • prick much?

  • After studying the CSI data, and observing and noting the affected perimeter, we can conclude categorically that:

American Airlines Flight 77 DID NOT strike the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.

Thank you so much for this post! It is scientific proof that what happened the morning of 9/11 was not due to a Commercial Airliner striking the Pentagon at low level altitude traveling at approx. 500+ mph, but rather something of a DIFFERENT nature -- like a missle strike!

  • dude what the fuck?smoked something you shouldnt have smoked?

  • and my money was on the truck...

  • too bad i have a tablet pc whos screen can turn/ flip :)

  • they should try it with a tank lol

  • Wow! That's much more Powerful then Cyclone Larry

  • i saw this somewhere else. they also did a school bus with pretty much the same result

  • Is that ment to be a training video

  • they took the motor out of the truck

not an accurate demonstration...get your shit outta here bitch!

  • other videos have the engines in them, still the same result

  • lol this was made the year i was born 1993

  • Sweet Dude!

  • That was great!

  • a truck??

    a f*cking pick up!

  • even if the truck had a motor in it you would still get pwnd and die if you were drivin

  • why cant i see the video

    just moved new area QI

  • Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas has got to get themselves a nice jet engine. If just two jet engines can push 50+ tons of steel through the sky at nearly 500 miles per hour, even one jet engine would have absolutely no problem simulating the winds in a violent tornado, such as the one that hit Oklahoma City on May 3, 1999.

  • Yeah your right it had no motor in it, you can see. but i still think with the motor it would be blown away it just wouldn't travel as far.

  • its a fake truck, made out of plastic and construction paper. hehe. I will punch that engine in the dick.

  • nice.

  • Comment removed

  • haha, now u'd gotten 3 down :))

  • That truck still weighs alot.

  • lmao thats what you call OWNED

  • wow omg

  • ....And there it goes....

  • wow truck got OWNED!!

  • don't mess with the jet

  • WOW!

  • lmao PWND!!!!

  • the truck was very light though...the engine, the gear box and the shaft was removed in order to make it lighter...lol

  • Wonder what all that thrust translates to in mph? It would make one hell of a leaf blower!

  • the only time in the trucks life where it travelled over 40mph! lol

  • this cheap truck...

  • lol theres no engine in that car, it lost a lot of weight from that, thats the only reason it blew so far

  • haha.. ill wanna walk pass that..

  • LOOOOOOL hate to be that hillbilly in that car so bad

  • Sucks to be the hillbilly inside

  • Now I know what happened to my '70 pickup. (Before I bought it...)

  • if i was in that truck, id b like......fuck

  • jet engine:1 truck:0 lol

  • I did that on a quad bike when I was working at Birmingham airport------errr ,,,just to see what would happen??? !! "BEWARE-JET BLAST".

  • I believe this would happen. But I would like to point out this is just frame and body, there was no motor inside that truck. But, I realize the same effect would happen. Powerful.

  • owned

  • damn good for long distance jumping lol

  • wow what an idiot, who would driver their truck right behind that plane... dumbass deserves what he gets.

  • Jet engine = power level over 9000

  • pwned

  • truck got owned XD

  • to those who don't believe me about the guy being sucked through its alright

here is the video for what i did see though

    (insert youtube site) /watch?v=L_gpPbpONK4

    Just saying

  • GODDAMN!

  • drunk driving is bad

  • That sometimes happens when I fart, too.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA LMAO

  • haha do the front part

  • that truck..had no engine. making it much lighter. but still.lol

  • I'd hate to see what would happen to my car...i've got a Toyota MR2

  • some person on some vid i seen was sucked into it and came out other end okay, i say one in a bazillion chance of that though.

  • Very funny :p

Jet engines use fans with lots of very small blades (look at the start of the vid). Unless that guy was about 1 cm thick he would have trouble fitting trough.

Jet engines are also designed to cut meat and bones without taking damage so it isn't destroyed when the plane eats up a bird during flight (which will be cut into finger wide slices)

  • yes the vid you refer to is a fake - there is no way you would come out the end as anything more than spray of human bits.

  • Maybe hes referring to the accident on the USS Theodore Roosevelt. A guy was sucked in and did live but he didnt come out the other side. He didnt even touch the blades which is of course the only way anyone could survive something like that.

  • Yes we all believe you

  • yeah these things can tear people to shreds the the engine will become damaged it brings new meaning to the term "whats for lunch?"

  • i was in that truck

  • so THAT'S how they make artificial reefs!

  • AightxD. So Cool (H)

  • think about the aircraft weighs more than 10x then the truck, even with a engine and transmission wouldnt help

  • PWNED!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • man thats some serious power, if the Nazis were around today they would use that against Crowd control/Riots or something!

  • WTF noob lol! that truck was witouth any kind of motor

  • no motor or transmission equals very very light truck

  • LOL!

  • wow it shot that car all the way back to Japan, where it came from

    lawl!!!!

  • the pw4062 on the 747-400 is 63,300lb of thrust and the gecf6-80c2b5f has 62,100lb of thrust so omid check your books because this is what it says in the boeing website because this is the thrust for the 747-400

  • Boeing's website lists the best engine option. Not all companies buy their jets with top-of-the-line options. United Airlines 747-400s use PW4056, which produce 56,700 lbs. of thrust. Most 747-400s use PW4056 or CF6-80C2B1F.

  • yeah i make up words too lol

  • well, mythbuster also show that jet engine can flip taxi, bus with engine and a small plane

  • So? The first time they failed calling the myth busted. But several safety videos such as this proves them wrong. Sometimes they are just ignorant...

  • if truck has a a engine or not it will still get blown away because this a 767-200 of united that each eangine produces 62,100 pounds of thrust so 62,100+62,100= 124,200 pounds of thurst in total

  • your dead wrong. The 747-400's engine make only 58000 pounds of trust, so how could the 767 make more than a 747 lol. just look at the size difference.

  • The 767-200 uses a more powerful engine (General Electric CF6-80C2) because it relies on only TWO engines for its heavy, extended range operations. The 747 divides its power demand among four engines, so each one doesn't need to make as much thrust.

  • that makes sense! but i thought that was the case with the 777's not the 767?

  • The 777 does it in spades, using the GE90-115B1 engine, with thrust ranging from 74,000 to 115,000 lb. The 767 is still the transcontinental/transatlantic workhorse of many airlines, like Continental (which doesn't operate ANY 747s). When comparing the 747/767, remember, it's not the size of the airplane that matters, it's the size of the engine. Also, too, the 767's engines are a newer design than the standard CF6s on most 747s.

  • It got blown away because there was no engine in the truck. The engine is what gives the truck its weight

  • Thats true, but after what happened to that truck do you think the engine is going to make much difference?

  • Fuck even if you had tons of lead weights in the bad of the truck and Rosie o Donell driving it would still flip the truck. Might not blow it as far away though.

  • no one that stupid would get blown by a jet

  • So why did they redo this on Mythbusters?

  • right ! i did see that episode, and i thought it was (busted) it blew the plastic off the car,... but they did not use a real jet !! just the engine. i don't know ? you got me .

  • The reason the myth was busted on mythbusters is because they couldn't use full size engines that put out REAL power. the little engines they used were made to simulate wind for special effects not true thrust.

  • thats bro. for clearing that up !! on to the next myth.

  • beats me?

  • hehe ale poleciał

  • they took the motor out this vid is flowd

  • HAHAha Wtf ,...THey put all that crap in the water.. is that serious... we dont talk about how water is dirty.. but that make a good show

  • so much for the blockade before the water... =\

  • casino royale has it spot on ;)

  • no matter how many things they leave in the truck or bus or take it those General Electric cf-6-80c12df will blow the bus and truck away because it has a thrust of 62,100 pounds of thrust more than the Airbus A300 jetliner the Boeing 767 carries different types of engines General Electric Rolls Royce and Pratt and Whitney GE IS THE HIGLY USED ENGINE IN THE 767

  • Dude ur retarded it can flip over a truck or bus for that matter.

  • The truck had no engine. That's approx 20% of the vehicles weight. Probably no fuel tank, and who knows what else they stripped out. I'd like to see a real world situation, not a phony dramatization.

  • Ya man I mean you can feel those on HWYs near airports when they land. Atlanta, DFW, MSP.

[Note I say feel because there not at max thrust. The myth is a 747 at full trust blew an impatcent taxi driver who ran a red.

  • once again like i always mention in this forum this is a 767-300ER commercial airliner and it has a thrust of 62,100 pounds of thrust that's powerful enough to cause damage to a house or a fence and yes it will blow away a tank imagine that it has 2 747 engines

  • holy lesbian that was sick

  • holy crap!

  • Good lord....those jet engines are POWERFUL!!! Now lets just see it blow away a tank! XD

  • That truck had no engine in it

  • I doubt that rusak24. An F-14 is much lighter than a 747, and therefore, needs less thrust to gain speed.

  • Das cool, do airliner engines produce more thrust than military fighters?

  • Modern ones do, but they are big high-bypass turbofans (a lot of the air they take in just slips right through the cowling-note that in some shots you can see daylight through them-and the engine basically sucks the plane through the air) that physically wouldn't fit in a sleek fighter-size airframe. Fighter turbofan engines have a much lower bypass and get most of their power from their afterburners-much more responsive than the big airliner engines, but it just guzzles fuel when they are lit!

  • That comment was for rusak24 btw-still getting the hang of posting on youtube dang it....

  • Well i mean a 747 engine what do they use pratt and whittney or something like that compared to a after burning engine like say that on a Mig-31 or F-15 or better yet a SR-71

  • pwned

  • well garrapata 8008 that is not going to happen it will be a catastrophe and the city and state and airline and the manufacturer will get in trouble and they will be in court for a long time

  • if you park a 767 jet in front of a walmart store it will blow everything inside it and leave it destroyed pretty much like a hurricane

  • cool ...we should try that

  • wonder i it could blow away a wal-mart store =)

  • i love to see what it would do to a geo metro. actually i like to see some "retired" engines at work you know where you don't have to care about saving the engine and strike it up and try to get an object through it watching the engine and the object blast into pieces.

  • for brmk listen dude grow up okay is only a video okay nothing of what you saying about social skills make sense because what people should read about is jet engines in this video so stop defending so much bbmd okay he can speak for himself and all i said was a challenege question and stated that facts abot the engines so you sir brmwk you need to stop having issues cause that make you look like a little kid okay thank you

  • i like the 70's music

  • It would have help if the lorry had the engine left in.

  • once again to mention to the people that don't understand this stage demonstration or think that it can't happen for real anything that gets in the way of the engine exhaust of the turbofan engine no matter what version you name it from rb-211's to ge90-115b it will blow a fire truck away sorry to disappoint you bbbd okay any by the way i do read up on jet engines since you think you are so smart mr know it all bbbd how much power does a GE90-92 TURBOFAN ENGINE PRODUCE?

  • Read up on social skills; as they, more than book smarts, will enable you to not only survive the 'real world', but also get along with people; a quality you seem to be lacking.

  • People who put others down for simple comments are actually the dumbass, k, thx, bye.

Everyone is entitled to say what they want, as long as it hurts no one, why give others crap about it? You, sir, need to grow up.
