Just wanted to send a quick thank you your way, HeadHardHat... About 3 weeks ago I randomly clicked on one of your videos and was introduced to geocaching. Did some research, bought a Dakota 20 a week later and am now (along with a couple of friends) completely hooked!
We're just up to 35 finds, but it gets us out and about every weekend... beats sitting in front of the tv!
Love the videos! I'm hooked on caching and I was wondering if you could make a video about some unique cache containers you've found or some cool ideas for me to make an ultimate geocache.
That is a very good idea Hippoguy123 and I just might do just that. In fact I may make a contest of the best geocaches created on video. Hmmm, there may be a GeoSnippits pathtag in your future... Will be in touch! -
I had such a blast finding that shell. I reconditioned it and one day may put it out as a hide. It's such a cool find though I don't know if I have the heart to put it back in the wild... See you out on the trails... -HHH
Vancouver Island is absolutely notorious for large stands of thick, prickly blackberry bushes. There's not too many stories about them, just logs like "Ouch" and "|"$&^$ blackberries".
If I can figure out how to post a pic, I have a few of the bush we climb through sometimes.
lol, those woods looked like where i live. You just got me interested in geocaching I heard there were a lot in the chiquapenn trail, which is in walking distance from my house so maybe ill try it!
Fun video to watch. I really wish more folks would get more creative with caches around my area sometimes. So many guardrail and skirt hides that are way too predictable.
Going caching with a friend tomorrow for some ammo boxes and maybe a micro or 2. Happy caching!
The creative geocaches are out there. Sometimes you have to do the more difficult ones to find some. On the other hand I try to be creative as possible. ;) Either way have fun out there and see you out on the trails.
Hey all you geocachers, this is aespor, known in the geocaching community as Tenorplayer, just letting you all know, I have a CITO up here in Indiana, come check it out!!
Hehe it says two things actually. At the beginning of the day it had a big D for the Detroit Tigers when they won division in 2006. The D actually fell off by the end of the day. Too Funny. Thanks for writing in!
very nice! Love the secluded caches myself. I hiked upa mountain last sept and my name is still the last one on it. Not too many got that cache as to its terrain difficulty. Anyways Loved the video!

Great video, but puh-lease on the "bushwahcking". You all need to try climbing through the BC rainforest and Vancouver Island blackberries!

Now this is what I needed when I was a newbie cacher. Seeing actual cache containers at their hiding spot. I especially loved the turtle find! TFTV!
