Several steps in the right direction here with the video itself!

Few things to try:

• Since getting a new camera is likely out of the question for now, shoot some clips wearing different colored shirts and see if your color balance improves. Also color calibrate your monitor(s).

• Try sitting down. It projects a much more comfortable and casual setting.

Next thing I'd recommend improving would be audio. Film Riot (Youtube them) recently did a series on film audio that's right up your alley.
