  • No you, you nutter.

    Pay attention mate.

  • Ok, cool, you have new music mate.

    What era/genre?

Cant be arsed with stream, im busy chattng on SoulSeek atm.

  • Thank god it wasnt out in the glory days.

It only takes 2-3 crates for a proper 3 hour set. Think about it.

    "Off the serato route" ?

    So your status quo atm?

Just gonna keep with your vinyl and decks for the mo?

  • So why thinking about Serato bro?

  • I know bro.

I am capable of following peoples train of thought and conversations.

  • Great mix :)

  • sorry to say but vinyl tables are pretty much obsolete nowadays...just about every club I've been to uses cdj1000mk3s...club standard besides DJs really don't wanna be haulin around crates of vinyls to every gig!! CDJs are the way to go...ques,effects..man the list goes on!!!

  • hahaha ...m8 ~vinyl tt's are so not obsolete lol.

    guess your under 20 ;)

    serato ??

  • just seen your profile your 31 ?!

I understand what your saying but ....

  • Naw I'm not bad mouthin vinyl Man...but times are changing I rarely see a set of Technics tables in a DJ booth...CDJs are just more versatile!

  • I know I know .... horrible if you turn up an cdjs are there ALONE but most decent clubs will have both ...

I'm off the Serato route soon , for me vinyl tt's are the biz (only coz there all I've ever used ) but I do see the benefits of cdj's as a unit but just with serato an the like out now

  • ......I dont see the point buying a cdj tho ( soz brettland )...

cdj's and technics do the same thing and the effects on the cdj can be obtained from using a mixers onboard effects or an off board effects unit so... duh either either is good ...weapon of choice I suppose .

They both kill the enemy ;)

  • How much vinyl you got mate?

Do you buy new tunes (new/old)?

For Serato you will need audio PC files, like in the form of mp3s or wav files.

  • "effect" !!

Right heres the deal. If I made a tune and I found out some numpty DJ was manipulating it on some lame CD-J effect or looping, I would go mental.

My tune, I would want played out and NOT tampered with.

    Get a clue.

2-3 crates max. Whats the matter poor boy got no muscles?

Fuck sakes its a walk from the 4x4 at the front, to inside the club.

  • You should go see vinyljunkie07's setup and ethos.

  • Oooo you American.

    Differnet over there.

    Were from the UK mate.

We do it better over here.

  • Ooffff, for fuck sake. More CD-Js.

  • sorry fella I knew of all people you would not be impressed still its about the music not the equipment.

  • lol 90sHouseTunes u really don't like em do ya ....eh why ?? they play tunes AND do funky things

nice to see more mixes up mr brettland sir ooooooyyeeah

  • Everyones right. I am living in the past.

I aint even used CD-Js in my life.

    Funky thingssssss eh.

    Oh well.

  • I never used em meself either .first time I even saw one in real life was at that djtutor thing in wales the other week .

there a lot lighter than I thought,I really did think they would be metal~they're plastik ..boohisss (soz brettland)

Its all the funky samplers and things~fast cue an that sorta biz that cant really be done a traditional deck that they good for imho.if serato had come out before cdj's they wouldn't exist,I feel ya tho m8 I really do I hail from the rave days too remember

  • I agree plastik not good and the control over the music is sweet, tonight in V bar I used them most of the night.
