Studies have shown that having gay parents is no more likely to f*ck up a kids life than having straight parents.

As for your comment about gays being married spitting in the face of those who are religious - that is utter bollocks. Marriage is not the exclusive property of those who follow a religion. Marriage is a civil insitution that should be open to all. If churches don't want to marry gay people that's fine, but the government shouldn't be allowed to stop two people who love each other and want to commit to a life together from getting married if they want to, no matter what sex they are.

2. Coming out takes guts and one of the biggest fears is having your rights *taken* away.

3. It insults straight people that two people love each other so much that they want to be together forever?

4. You can be religious no matter your sexual orientation.

5. All children deal with different family issues. Some of their issues are just different then other kids.

If kids are mocked by other kids for having same sex parents it's also the same kids who are either bullies and/or bigots AND where do they learn this,PARENTS. We need to break the cyclic nature of bigotry and stereo-types its as bad as substance abuse. My spouse and myself have not yet wanted to adopt, but who knows! Same sex married in Massachusetts. you're exactly right! I was raised by both a mother and a father, and all they'd do was fight, abuse each other, gamble, and smoke too much. They did raise me very well at all. Even is gay weren't allowed to raise children, who says that they still wont? Anybody can produce a child and raise them.
