Criei uma conta só para registrar minha satisfação em ouvir esta música!! Good times are back again! Amazing! Me sinto uma adolescente novamente!! ... and I can't imagine.... SHA LA LA LALA
I LOVE this music! Reminds me the (good times of the) year of 1997...The beggining of the video, very cool! This song was a hit here in Brazil; I even have the CD. Mara!!!
"What do you want from me, its not how it use to be, you've taken my life away, ruining everything" How can so few words define so accuretly an existance. My conscious exposed.
I agree. I have both albums and they're two of the best CD's in my collection. I'd love their to be a reunion with a new album out. Especially since it's been a while since New Order's last album.
Yeah, I was watching the Daria dvds I bought on ioffer a couple of days ago and this song came up on the "Quinn the Brain" episode and I immediately went online and looked it up. Just bought the cd used from Amazon for $2! Listened to samples on Amazon and the whole cd sounds brilliant.
Well if you like Monaco, be sure to check out New Order if you're not already familiar. They share the same basist and sound quite similar, and there's much much more music from New Order.
I love this song!!! I think I commented in here before. But I just got this album like a week ago off eBay mainly because I was watching this and a co-worker I know is a huge NewOrder fan (I like them too and Joy Division) and he never knew of Monaco.
I love this song and the entire cd is cool. Right now that co-worker has the cd, but not before I put it on my computer.
WAR people having good taste in the art of music :)
AWESOME SONG !! but i suppose they are from manchester and thats where all the best music originates !! im im not byass as im a yorkshireman from scarborough.
re-read my comment. i did not say that bernard was singing the chorus. i said he was singing on some lay-over vocals.
i spent an half-hour with bernard and peter at the rosehill hotel kilkenny some years ago and they/we were discussing peter's monaco venture. peter remembered bernard murdering the bit peter ahd asked him to sing.
this isn't new order mate. this is a personal side-project that peter hook started up called 'Monaco'. Still, you can certainly tell of the new order influence esp. with bernard sumner doing some lay-over backing vocals.
ive been trying to find the name of this somng for ages! finally found it! of course why am i not surprised its so good ..i mean New Order like pet shop boys are fantastic
Never mind Magenta Devine, thats Rusty Goffe playing the piano, one of the few surviving Oompa Loompa's and star of Star Sars, Flash Gordon and Willow!
I loved the 90's, it really was a great era and this brings lots of memories.
Check out my other favorites in my channel, also in "My videos" section I put some of my soap operas videos, let me know what you think. Excelente video
Chequeate mis otros favoritos. Por cierto, si te vas a mi canal me puedes ver actuando en mis novelas, jejeje.
I remember this song but I never really thought to check out who it was. I actually thought it was New Order till I did my homework! Didn't know it was Hooky singing the verses, he's got a good voice! Id only heard him on Interzone.
Take that, Electronic! This was one of my favorite albums of the late 90's. I never saw this video, it kind of reminds me of the Smooth Operator clip. Thanks for posting...

in the 60's London, there was much graffiti of "Clapton is God".....when it comes to melodic agressive ass-kicking lead bass, Hooky is God!
