aahhh, thanks a lot, after messing around with this for days I finally figured out how to make some damn money off this stuff...to bad 2 of my shipments had to burn up in the atmosphere before I figured it out. Thinking about getting this game but I have a problem.WHT DO YOU DO ON THIS GAME? I hear you can mine & do missions btw what are the missions like do they tell you to assassinate ppl or what. Also after u do all mission & mining what's left to do what do u do after that?

@nightheat7767 Missions aren't that much different than those in other MMORPGs. They could involve combat, running errands, etc. but missions are only a small part of the game. Once you have a steady income (and planetary interaction is one way to get that), some focus on PvP combat (taking on other players, often times in groups), mining, R&D (crafting), pirating, building factories of different kinds, etc. Awesome if you like open-ended games, but be warned, there's a learning curve...

Oh man, I remember the old PI interface...specifically, the extractors. I don't think people realize how useful that "collection radius static" thing is, nor the fact that you can now queue up multiple days worth of extraction instead of having to check back every couple hours.

Remember that an MMORPG can also be a point and click game. But what has is strategy both in market and versus other players or NPCs. If you like being a strategist then EVE is the best MMO choice and will be in the near future aswell ;)

@clitmint From what I know you wouldn't need to join a corporation as you are a merc that is paid by doing the job on the ground. Corps just want dust players so that they always have someone for them no the ground. As for who the best one is is really hard to say as there are many that you can choose from or not. Some are big, most are average to small size.

At first glance it looks like you will never figure anything out but just playing around for a few mins you quickly figure out that its actualy a very easy very indepth game. Those that cant figure that out should go back to WoW. Are you guys planning to add this kinds of videos (or an interactive kind) as tutorials ingame? Would be nice to have a soothing voice to guide you through everything instead of only the text. Some graphical references (not just blinking) like 3D reticules on your screen and such. It seems to be possible with the new UI Engine, so I'd love to see it port over to tutorials as much as to any other part of EVE.

This looks awesome. They never had this when I played but that was maybe 2 years ago now. Are there a lot of people to talk to in Eve once you leave the Newbie chat/area? I remember things feeling a bit lonely after a few weeks of playing and really want a good community aspect if I play again. I just tried picking up WoW but got stuck at the login screen. The thought of playing alongside a load of whiny kids is just too much I think. Are you guys enjoying Eve a lot atm?

@bsull10 No you can get started on this very easily, on almost any planet in the game. When you first start make sure to build everything very close together and right on top of your resources though. It's expensive to set up. Took me, a noob, around 6-7 million to set up on two planets producing a good that required advanced production facility. This included a new transport ship, all the skill books and all the structures on both planets. After that it's a nice passive income though.

I tried this game for 2 months (about 8 months ago) ,& i got used to the game after 2 weeks thanks to the carebears and the rookie chat!

The thing is, I like eve pvp-wise but I never had the courage to do pvp cos I thought I worked hard for the fittings and even to buy the ship for a chance of loosing them in 10min.

So on eve,I used to do missions and planet thing.

It got abit boring for me though as i saw myself repeating quests over and over. and not to mention how boring mining was!
