They have given up their right to do that. They must be unflinching steel and unquestioning of the task at hand. Terrorists dress as civilians, hide in civilian homes, use civilians and children as shields and mobile bombs. Civilians regularly carry assault rifles with them, making it very easy to confuse them with terrorists. I wanna see these politicians go out and do the job without killing civilians. To call the soldiers murderers and child killers is just sick and wrong.
And while it may be true that there have been a few bad apples in the military (as there are bad apples in all facets of life) that have killed innocent civilians in cold blood, characterizing the entire military as Nazis and cold blooded killers of the innocent is beyond wrong. Far and away the majority serve this country with honor, integrity, and a desire to help others in a region of the world dominated by violent jihadists and terrorists with no concern for human life.

Obviously these people have never been deployed. (Of course not, they're congressmen) I'm in the Air Force, and just got back from Afghanistan. While we were there, a small village outside of Kandahar was attacked. We brought the civilians from the town onto our base at Camp Bastion, and treated them. We didn't terrorize them and kill them in cold blood. I'm proud to be in the military, and the fact that the people who are in charge don't support us disgusts me. Who the hell voted for Kerry?

Obama's main job being president of the United States is to protect the people along with Congress. Hillary Clinton is being paid to run around the world. Obama took 2 months to decide. He could stayed at the white house, met MORE with his military people and could have came up with a quicker solution. I agree with you that Obama isn't a great leader. At the same time though, the things that he is doing around the world, like the climate change conference and such, are still important. And meeting with foreign leaders is nothing to criticize. I would argue that meeting with these people helps prevent us from having more enemies in the future.

The climate change conference achieved nothing. No consensus among world leaders was built as to how to handle climate change. That's not even touching on the fact that climate change isn't entirely (and probably not even significantly) caused by the actions of humans.
Meeting with foreign leaders is not to be criticized. Prostrating oneself before them, as a representative of this nation, is to be strongly criticized. Making oneself and ones nation appear weak only emboldens your enemies.

Global Warming theory is based upon two undeniable, scientifically proven facts. #1 Carbon dioxide, if not made into oxygen by plant life, traps heat in the atmosphere. #2 Due to 200 years of deforestation and the heavy usage of fossil fuels, there is now an abundance of CO2 in our atmosphere. Is this the sole reason? No. But it is a major reason.
The question is what evidence do anthropogenic global warming theorists have that man is the primary cause of the changing climate, not what evidence do those of my persuasion have that the theory is wrong. They have given up their right to do that. They must be unflinching steel and unquestioning of the task at hand. It's our job to think critically and make sure that putting them in harms way is the right thing for America and the world. Obviously these people have never been deployed. (Of course not, they're congressmen) I'm in the Air Force, and just got back from Afghanistan. While we were there, a small village outside of Kandahar was attacked. We brought the civilians from the town onto our base at Camp Bastion, and treated them. We didn't terrorize them and kill them in cold blood. I'm proud to be in the military, and the fact that the people who are in charge don't support us disgusts me. Who the hell voted for Kerry?

However, I don't think that him taking trips around the world is insulting to the military. It seems like it is, number one, his job to meet with leaders of foreign nations, and number two, I think that him visiting other countries softens the animosity that other countries have against the U.S.

Obama's main job being president of the United States is to protect the people along with Congress. Hillary Clinton is being paid to run around the world. Obama took 2 months to decide. He could stayed at the white house, met MORE with his military people and could have came up with a quicker solution. Making trips around the world in a time of immediate decision making is not really smart.

I agree with you that Obama isn't a great leader. At the same time though, the things that he is doing around the world, like the climate change conference and such, are still important. And meeting with foreign leaders is nothing to criticize. I would argue that meeting with these people helps prevent us from having more enemies in the future.
And also, one question: Why weren't Republicans complaining about how much debt Bush piled on when he led us into the Iraq/Afgan Wars?

The climate change conference achieved nothing. No consensus among world leaders was built as to how to handle climate change. That's not even touching on the fact that climate change isn't entirely (and probably not even significantly) caused by the actions of humans.
Meeting with foreign leaders is not to be criticized. Prostrating oneself before them, as a representative of this nation, is to be strongly criticized. Making oneself and ones nation appear weak only emboldens your enemies.

I hate to say it, but, global warming deniers are wrong. I wish they were right, i really do, but what evidence do they have? Global Warming theory is based upon two undeniable, scientifically proven facts. #1 Carbon dioxide, if not made into oxygen by plant life, traps heat in the atmosphere. #2 Due to 200 years of deforestation and the heavy usage of fossil fuels, there is now an abundance of CO2 in our atmosphere. Is this the sole reason? No. But it is a major reason.

The question is what evidence do anthropogenic global warming theorists have that man is the primary cause of the changing climate, not what evidence do those of my persuasion have that the theory is wrong. The onus is on the supporters of a theory to prove it by affirmative evidence not upon the detractors of a theory to disprove it (something those unfamiliar with the scientific method continuously fail to realize or acknowledge).

Shall we kill off all the herbivores, stop all the clouds from forming, and drop giant corks in all the worlds volcanoes? Fossil fuels are not even the primary source of carbon dioxide emissions (volcanic activity and natural ocean cycles are the primary sources).
2) The planet has been going through cycles of warming and cooling for eons of time before humans even existed and it will continue to do so long after we are gone.
3) Approximately 1/3 of this planet is covered in forests.

It is no excuse to say "Bush did it too." As for blaming Bush for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, the notion is laughable. Democrats were calling for the invasion of Iraq for years before Bush received the OK from Congress (including a great many Democrats) to do so. The entire country was behind him on the invasion of Afghanistan. We were screaming for Afghan blood after 9/11, and rightly so. We all share the blame for the cost in blood and treasure of the war in Afghanistan.

It is not "undeniable fact", as you say, that deforestation and the heavy use of fossil fuels are a major reason for the rise in global temperatures. The real facts are simple.
1) Carbon dioxide is only weakly capable of trapping solar heat. Water vapor and organically produced methane (primarily from bacteria living in the digestive tracts of herbivores) are far more effective greenhouse gases.
