As the parent of a 15-year-old boy who is bigger than I am and has serious psychological problems, I can empathize with this mother. My son has threatened and attempted to kill his brothers and has put holes in walls and doors. He is literally insane when he has one of his fits. The mental health establishment won't do anything. What other option does a parent have? That cop should be dismissed from the force!

I agree. I've heard calls for 8 and 9 year olds out of control! If you can't handle that, you just may as well throw in the towel.

But there are some children with mental problems who are extremely strong, volatile, and can hurt you. My best friend works in a state facility and they have some three year olds who have been severely abused, and can kick and bite the crap out of you. Sometimes it takes more than one staff member just to handle a toddler when they are this far out of control.
