  • lmao its so damn similar to the odyssey by symphony x around 9:30

  • man suchan awesome song i cant find a ny tabs though..:(

  • I never thought that Bjork was a reptile

  • 1:15...if you are dead, you will never know this part

  • Ive never heard this band til tonight. Im usually more of a death/black metal sort of guy I guess and while this song isnt exactly my new favorite, it is pretty interesting. Dude's vocals remind me of Ozzy one moment and King Diamond the next and the music is a blend of a bunch of styles ranging from grove to goth. Thats how it sounds to me, anyway.

  • @nikkivixen1 lol nikki is a fag

  • @SmexyKream Dont listen to this guy, people. I have it on good authority that it is him who is the fag. :D

  • @nikkivixen1

dude just listen to their song "This Godless Endeavor"

    it's amazing

  • @nikkivixen1 it sounds like nevermore to me, dude.

  • @GoreHammerAK That it does.

  • That song sends me shivers down the spine thats a good sign !

  • @SatanicTemptation That's what 'shiver me timbers' is all about.

  • great song

  • @the931912 true...

  • I listen to music (accepted)

    I listen to (random gerne)(Objected)

How can you describe so many feelings by gernes....

  • @The931912 WTF is a "gerne"?

  • @nscoulter gerne =genre of one left handed guy :D (look down to your keyboard and realiaze that some buttons are in the left of it(keyboard) so my mistakes are like that :D

  • @eleoCz Hahahahahahah

  • Problems*

  • According to Dane, his alcohol problemes killed Nevermore.

  • awesome song

  • AAAAAAAAHH FUCKING NEVERMORE! RIP \m/

  • Didn't Warren have to leave the tour for emergency rehab? Right after that they broke up. Thats what I heard anyways. Sad, Great fucking bad

  • thank god jeff left the band the singer really has to find something better to do then sing

  • @TRUEGUITARHERO2171 His vocal range is greater than Rob Halford's. Kill yourself. 5 octaves motherfucker.

  • @bill14231393 if that singer could hit what rob hits nevermore would not suck as much ill tell you one thing there a better instrumental band

  • @TRUEGUITARHERO2171 Look up "warrel dane vocal range" on youtube.

  • @TRUEGUITARHERO2171 Nevermore Fuckin Rules!!!!!!!!!

  • @

    Avalanche73m1Nevermore Fuckin Rules!!!!!!!!!

  • @

    Avalanche73m1=Nevermore Fuckin Rules!!!!!!!!!

  • @TRUEGUITARHERO2171 First of all: The "singer" is called Warrel Dane.

and you should check out his work before you criticize him, even in Nevermore his vocals are suitable and amazing, not to talk about Sanctuary where his vocals were THE BEST!!!

  • @TRUEGUITARHERO2171 lmaoo im going to have to eat my words here but since i posted this till now i have become a huge nevermore fan hahah

  • Dumbest goddamn lyrics ever

  • Let's talk about the part at 1:17..sick heavy...freaking awesome! flip out folks!

  • I think musicians get bored of doing the same thing over and over again this album was written primarily by jeff and darrel cuz jim was such so of course it will sound different. musically speaking its probably.one of their best

  • some say that that 2 big egos cant be contained in one big band.....first soad and now nevermore as well.the thing is soad were popular so they are doing a reunion right now....but nevermore are not......whitch is extremly unfair if u check their discography,i mean the guys are genious....but thats life

  • @eleoCz why? hes dick leaving the band like that

danm it leaving nothing but a paragraph its not fair EXPLAIN JEFF WHY THE HELL DID U LEAVE

  • @bskulldragon100 Difference in musical taste.

  • @TheMrAbaddon i dont understand

  • @bskulldragon100

He wanted to make that style, and he the other style. also, because of fights.

  • @TheMrAbaddon bro, im talking about how jeff and van were being dicks and left actuallyb

  • @bskulldragon100

No I understand, they should be more like Lamb of God, when they have issues, they just fight.

  • @TheMrAbaddon oh ya

but too bad they dont give a shit about everyone of there fans eh -__-dicks

  • @bskulldragon100

At least they don't kill them, like every episode of Metalocalypse.

  • I think this is one of my favorite nevermore songs.

  • 1:14 : Oh my god.... This is so fucking brutal.

  • It's amazing how when you take the melodic groove/thrash base and replace the idiotic metalcore screaming and emo whining with legitimately awesome vocals, the music goes from pure shit to godly. Hail Nevermore for bringing intellect and class to the modern metal sound!

  • @SwietowitMeowsAnew amen brother

  • @SwietowitMeowsAnew I wish I could thumbs up this more than once.

  • I like Turtles...

    ...and Nevermore

  • @ZimrayaTV same here =D

  • de la merde tout court

  • awesome chorus!

  • Spam this! Mark it please! so we dont have to read shitty youtube metal politics and we get one step closer to moving these comments to the next page. I didn't want to post but I felt obliged, just to see the other comments go. Nevermore was and still is a life changing band for me, more like I don't change them from the playlist much. So please post Fan comments not politics.

  • @tec2ification stfu dude, go eat shit if u dont like it dont comment on it...

    btw awesome song

  • @lethalnecris Nice channel queer. You even called your own comments gay. Go play some more video games and polish up on your e-thug lingo. Fucking waste of a life telling me to eat shit on a Nevermore video. Fuck off. Damn tard babies can't keep their chops shut IRL so i'm guessing your about 17 and get a weekly beatdown in the back of the short bus, so this must make you feel tough. Either way I hope you live forever after your dick rots off.

  • FUCKK!!! THE RIFF AT 1:15 is FUCKING GREAT!!!!!

  • its a shame more people dont know about them but as the product of a new age and era in metal, i would directly attribute this to the vocals cuz this style of singer only appeals to a very small demographic. i know, its probably the bands preference since they are a little older themselves and thats cool but its a real shame to me that they are not one of the biggest metal acts on the planet. I would love to hear this music with like Todd Smith/Matt Holt/The End style singer. melodic w/ screams

  • also, they were doing the whole uptempo groove metal thing waaaay early on. as much as we hate to admit, Slipknot is the pivotal band that brought the whole uptempo next level aggressiveness into the mainstream. when they broke in 99, the bar for metal got higher and bands became faster and more technical. if Nevermore had a more modern singer who could scream and were on a label that promoted them, they wouldve been the band that changed it all. i guarantee it.

  • @thefallingdream Everything Slipknot did, Fear Factory did first. Slipknot deserves no credit for anything except being a bunch of unoriginal, talentless hacks.

  • @PsychoticPulse LOL, not a chance. Its like a short stop and a third baseman, although they are in the same general area of the field, they are completely different positions. Fear Factory and Slipknot are completely different in every way minus the fact they are a part of the same genre< and i say that loosely. Slipknot IS the band that achieved that next level of COMMERCIAL/MAINSTREAM success that brought metal into focus for the masses, even those who werent into metal. Fear Factory did not

  • @thefallingdream Achieving mainstream success does not make an artist talented nor original.

  • @PsychoticPulse Fear Factory was always a band that remained almost strictly in the metal community. Metalheads across all genres and sub genres knew who FF were and most listened to them and liked them. But even my 9 year old niece knew who Slipknot was while she was a Brittney Spears fan way back when

  • @PsychoticPulse who said mainstream success equals talent? not me. you clearly have no understanding of the point. forget it man. The stupidity of the internet crowd is perplexing. later

  • @thefallingdream Congrats on taking a troll seriously, dude.

  • @PsychoticPulse lol. forgive me. i just started this whole computer commenting bullshit and im not adept enough to decipher whatever a troll is from whatever a non troll is.. I usually spend my days interacting with real people and doing cool shit. The jokes on me.

  • @thefallingdream Lucky you. I'm trapped inside because I have a severe burn and can't risk it getting infected.

  • @PsychoticPulse yup, that sucks a fat onne bro. what happened, wreck?

  • @thefallingdream Broken table flipped over at work and a full cup of hot tea spilled all over my leg and foot. -_-

  • i dont like ass rock singers usually but dane has grown on me, and yes guys, he is butt rock, dont argue, lol. Nevermore is musically one of the best metal bands thats ever lived. Loomis' guitar tone is stellar. My fav. i just have to think tho, if they had a more modern and more aggressive singer, they wouldve DOMIATED this genre. They wouldve ruled "the Korn era" and probably wouldve BLOWN UP when dead heart came out. Imagine if Dane could scream too, this would be the best band EVER!

  • @thefallingdream in my opinion Nevermore IS special just because of WARREL! He has a particular voice and way of singing, and NEVERMORE can be heavy as fuck even without all that useless SCREAM and GROWL tecniques, their riffs make them heavy. They're really one of the most original and particular bands out there! No matter if they are not poular as metallica or slipknot whathever, it's not that important. They have to stay what they are because only like this they show out what their music mean

  • Une ostie de bonne toune !!!!

  • @Filmavision hey, i agree that they are particular, and as i said earlier, Dane DID by all means grow on me. the dude writes some unmistakably amazing vocal melodies and comes through with HUGE choruses on the reg. BUT, in terms of completely owning the era in which they came to prominence, there is no arguing that a different singer wouldve seen them much bigger fame. thats the only point im trying to make. im old now, and over the screaming myself too BUT they wouldve KILLED IT with a.....

  • @Filmavision singer like i was describing in the comment. thus, i was saying it is a shame they didnt blow up like they deserve, Loomis is my fav, all time, the drummer is amazing, but the music is so heavy, it does calls for screams in certain parts in my, and many others opinions. thats all. Wish they wouldve owned the era like i know they couldve.

  • i fucking love this album and previous ones too i fucking love Nevermore!

  • Yeeaaaaah Fucking Great! I love you guys!

  • right im off to iTunes ty vm, this should be in my collection for sure!

  • @eleoCz lol =O

  • fucking amazing pure talent

  • NE - NE - NEVERMOREEEEEE!!!

    another great album of them.

  • NE - NE - NEVERMOREEEEEE!!!

    another great album of them.

  • Not a fan of the overall album but this is nothing short of delicous nevermore epicness

  • metal is metal, from black sabbath to lamb of god (with the exception of glam) its all good to me

  • @MRec1124 yeah fuck glam pussy faggots

  • So funny how people have to psychoanalyse everything. New school metal, old school metal and some fucking idiot down there going on about swedish death metal...roflmfao!!! Why don't you just shut the fuck up and enjoy this amazing band. For me Nevermore are the best metal band ever.

  • @Hertsman50 Then you haven't heard ...

    A lot of bands.

  • @ThazuaBlackarrow Then you haven't heard...

    ENOUGH NEVERMORE

  • @HeavyMetalVagabond I've heard enough Nevermore to last a life time and a half, I need to go listen to something not incredibly overrated and bad.

  • Dare I say, one of the greatest metal songs of all time?!

  • Best part of the song: the "soliloquy" speech before the second verse. *jizzed in my pants*

  • look at the pillar in the background, now tell me that doesnt look familiar (no i dont mean the washington monument)

    just think of jeff loomis

  • baddassss !! on upper level

  • i just met jeff loomis. my life is complete.

  • You can here alot of jeffs solo album in this song.

  • fucking great song!!!

  • intro sounds like shouting fire at a funeral

  • I love how the "BURN!" in the 2nd verse adds to the awesomeness of the heavy-as-shit riff.

  • Kick Ass!!!!!

  • the album cover is what got me interested in this band its vulgar, sick, demonic an sexy just what i like. an the band equals HEAVY HEADBANGING

  • @ShinobiD3monX20

    How Sweet

  • ajajaja a toa raja la canción :O

  • This song is the best of the entire album!

  • Welcome to the underground, welcome to the grave - welcome to your beautiful mistake !!!!!

  • @lkgf09 and you are a piece of shit

  • The best song on album!

  • A friend of mine and I were driving earlier and listening to this... I wasnt a big Nevermore fan but I am now!!! This album won me over BIG time!!!

  • new nevermore is making these really weird unorthodox riffs. In a good way.

  • Best song on this album...song is heavy and killer! fuct yea!

  • Definitely one of the most "valuable" albums of the year!!

  • I like the song except for the chugging i hate chugging breakdowns but seeing as how jeff loomis wrote it and how it isn't the entire song I'll make an exception

  • @demigod325 Nevermore had "breakdown"y parts like that 10 years ago... just cuz As I Lay Dying etc. does it doesn't mean Nevermore is weakening... it means their influence is spreading :)

  • @bce5150 i never said that nevermore was weakening sorry if it sounded like it but no I don't think that at all

  • @bce5150

It's weird, Nevermore have VERY brutal guitar riffs (sort of like As I Lay Dying like You said) but they have old school Metal vocals. I've not heard anything like this before. It's like two different genres of Metal put together, It's like Black Sabbath and As I Lay Dying put together! It's awsome!

  • @melistentodeathmetal Their shit going all the way back to like 1999 when they picked up the 7-strings is just as brutal as this. I think they helped define the modern metal sound which has become synonymous with metalcore. Huge correlations between the two, but i just think its ridiculous when old school metalheads write this off cuz theres a breakdown or whatever but if this same shit had been released a few years back they'd love it

  • @melistentodeathmetal

    you sir are an idiot

those are very thrashy riffs while as i lay dying takes their cue from swedish death metal

it's the production and the detuned guitars that give the similar sound you spazz

learn something before you make a comment

  • @juannamanmakn

So because I have a different view to You, it makes me a spazz? The way I see it, You are the spazz, because You were sad enough to complain and whine at me like a little baby just because I find their guitar tone brutal and similar to As I Lay Dying's. Yes, the riffs are thrashy. Yes the music is awsome. Explain why I am a spazz... I have only just got into Nevermore, so obviously I don't know a great deal about them.

  • the intro is pretty much shouting fire at a funeral off of jeff loomis's solo album. Idk how Jeff could have done that, i know its not the biggest deal but he can do better.

  • This style or metalcore.....Vote!!!!!Nevermore FTW!

  • @blitzspeer what's metalcore anyway?

  • at first listen of the album i though "no ambivalence?", the fucking HARD nevermore that was unleashed upon us on enemies of reality

but after x- plays, i'm singing along and headbanging and yes, it is an album you have to get used to, but it's a fuckijng masterpiece so get used to it!

  • Wow. This is only the 3rd Nevermore song I've ever heard - and I'm pretty much blown away!

  • i <3 this album!

  • 0:15 riff from loomis's solo album

  • I'm not feeling this album as much as I did the older stuff, lyrically atleast

  • This actually doesnt sound like any other Nevermore...people just always think nevemore sounds the same but thats because they usually have such an Ambient feel to some of the riffs because they are so Grimey on their 7 strings. if anything it isnt as good as old nevermore i dont like the lyrics Warrel dane really lost his Intensity i dont really like his song at all

  • @HeartOfMetalx11 I think you should give the album a proper chance, for me its one of the best they have ever done. Just listen to the title track, every single riff in that is outstanding and is miles above the majority of their older stuff (to me anyhow). This godless endeavour is still my favourite nevermore song but there is plenty of outstanding stuff on display in this album, Jeff has cut down on the dull powerchord riffs which was the one thing that I didnt like about them before.

  • Awesome!!!!!!!!

  • I'm sorry, but i can't seem to find the "Love it" button. what the hell.

  • I fuckin love this metal sound. finally a band that has bad ass quality and awesome production value.

  • eargasm

  • @laithskates

i totaly agree that this is pure eargasm (totaly new frase for nevermore EARGASM :D)

  • @slamaskin1 actually man thts been around. and for u fatties... foodgasm. :p I LOVE JEEF LOOMIS.

  • Does anyone feel like the vocals are a bit too high in the mix?

  • Loved it from the moment the first notes started! Love it! LOVE IT !!!

  • i bought this album yesterday! and now i'm spamming all the youtube comment pages about it lol

  • I feel the consequence of everything you left unsaid...And now you're dead.

Could that be about the girlfreind who joined a cult and went missing? (He sung about her in DNB)

    Also, is this soliloquy

    Welcome to your grave etc

  • @therealmoomoomoomoo that's what I've been thinking for a while now. its the most probable case

  • AWESOME

  • nice one

  • Intro melody sounds like it was an improvised Jato unit melody. Still awesome though! The preview does this song injustice.

  • when is this album scheduled to be released in the u.s of a?

  • @hip142 sometime this month

  • cant wait for the album to be released in the US!

  • a lot of my friends who are Nevermore fans criticize the album for being too similar to Dreaming Neon Black. sure maybe it's not as heavy and brutal as TGE, but it's dark and creepy, and still Nevermore.

    Personally i love it.

  • I'm glad I'm just getting into Nevermore now. It sounds like a lot of people were disappointed in this album, but I certainly wasn't (only other album I have of theirs is "This Godless Endeavor"). So far, I've loved just about every song of theirs I've heard. Also, the vocals on this album are phenomenal.

  • The beginning lead is definitely a play on the main riff from Jeff Loomis' "Shouting Fire at a Funeral" from his solo album.

  • What a goddamn asskicking moherfucking godly song! Awesome!

  • listen the album from jeff loomis, many similar riff

  • Am i the only person who was dissapointed by this album? it honestley is not as good as dead heart in a dead world, or this godless endeavor. there self titled is way better than this cd in my opinion. anyone else agree?

  • @999livedlive i find this album grows on you if you listen to it enough, at first i had high expectations and was disappointed it wasn't perfect but after a few listens its more appreciable. But I think your right about it not being as good as godless or dead heart.

  • @miseryxindexx yes for sure. there were quite a few songs that i was disappointed by and after giving them a few more listens im addicted.

  • @999livedlive: They've been kinda moving away from that sound for the last couple albums to be honest. BUT it's still a damn good album.

  • @999livedlive I'm not sure why each album needs to be stacked next to one another to be honest - if they came out with the same thing again, people would still bitch and whine, the music itself is decent - just appreciate it for what it is, not for what something else was.

  • awesomeness! \m/

  • 7th masterpiece from the best metal band today

only death and nevermore makes the 7-7

  • God damn the break down at 1:10

  • FUCK!!! WHAT A GUITAR SOUND!!!

  • it sounds like the "dead heart...." side of nevermore....perfect!!!!!

  • @6kotsos

Agreed can't wait to get my hands on what is going to be one of the albums of the year.

    Nevermore just get better.

  • intro actually reminds me of narcosynthesis!!!!!

  • there catagory wiki says it haz many so u cant say but each one had the word metal at the end so theses guys are PURE RAW METAL ROCK CAN SUCK AMRICAS BALLZ

  • at first when i heard preview on century media i though this was gonna be the weakest song I GOT SHUT DOWN BY FARRRRRRRR one of the best songsssss the whole album is a master peice

  • @bskulldragon100 lmaooo dude i swear i saw this comment im like this is only something my lil bro would say and i look at the user im like aha what a coincidence but yeah man i agree with you completely i just heard chorus im like damn this is gonna be just melodic song but damn i was wrong damn epic song these guys are pure genius

  • @kudurrumaqlu DUMBASS U WERE ON MY ACCOUNT U SAID THT I DIDENT EVEN KNOW WHAT THE HELL COUNTRY MEIDIA AN I STILL DONT lol

  • at the beginning it also kinda sounds like shouting fire at a funeral

  • @justicexisxblind66 which mean it sounds like Jeff Loomis lol

  • @justicexisxblind66 yeah, it does... alot

  • @justicexisxblind66 I thought the exct same thing

  • It sounds allot like Narcosynthesis if you ask me, its a great song though!!!
