  • Non.

  • Wow, this too is fascinee.I must find book by Bertiere.. There had to be spy's everywhere I cnt beleive she a Catholic would have allowed that to happen even if they loved each other .He risked his life for her but a smaller carriage and retinue would have attracted less attention .she could have escaped her family was damn powerful. her brother's (later emperor's ) had no strong desire save Bourbon's& put them back on throne.Louis' two brothers later ruled .

  • I wish I could speak frensh T.T

  • Eh oui! Pile poil!

Franchement c'est "the" biographie à lire.

T'as raison Marie, régales toi !!!

  • ( -> the end ) A chemist unravels for us one of the processes used by Fersen and Marie Antoinette . ''So I take the first product ... [explaining something about it]'' This ink can't be seen by an human eye, only if mixed with a revelating substance . If the person who reads the letter doesn't know which specific product to add, the message keeps its mystery . ''The iron in his product will react with the first substance and blood-colored letters will appear''.

  • (-> 0:30) The passion of the queen Marie Antoinette for the count Axel de Fersen is the story of a crazy love between the more handsome man inEurope and one of the mightiest queens in the world . So who is this beautiful Axel ? This man who gained many hearts and stole the reason of Marie Antoinette . In 1770, Marie Antoinette just married at the french Court, and Axel de Fersen is 15 years old . His father is the richest aristocra in Sweden . He leaves Stockholm in order to make an Europe tour

  • (-> 0:53) and achieve his education . ''Immediately, in the three days following his arrival, he's presented to the royal Family . He doesn't fall in love, what interests him first are the pleasures of Paris'' However, very quickly he will win the queen's heart . ''He is very elegant, Marie Antoinette is concerned about good-looking, he's among those beautiful swedish men who came to the french Court and you can't miss him when you see him.''

  • ( -> 1:20) Time passes and bonds appear between Fersen and Marie Antoinette, growing stronger and stronger . This relation makes people in the court spread rumors, but those are not able to tear the two apart . Fersen decides he won't marry . He leaves the queen only when he goes to war for the independance of the united states . He's 25 years old . ''He will live mostly in France, closer and closer to Marie Antoinette, and they see each other almost everyday .''

  • ( -> 1:45) ''As time goes by, there will be a real, affectionate understanding . They have much in common . Very lonely people . In the same way to look at things . A bit provocative, in their young time especially . It is enough to read Fersen's notebook to notice this . During the american independance war, for example, he talks about horrid women with blackened, broken teeth . Or elsewhere, about boring english ladies .''

  • (>2:13)''There is like that, a taste for acid storytelling that is also very well documented in Marie Antoinette's style .'' - ''As she knows he's going to leave, Marie Antoinette would have been seen with watering eyes'' Patricia is an historian . She spent three years studying the relation between Marie Antoinette and Fersen . For us, she goes into the Stockholm archives, where still today, lies the exchange of letters between the last french queen and the beautiful swedish man .

  • (>2:49) ''From november 1723 appears a name, a certain Josephine . We know today it was a code name for Marie Antoinette . Since then begins an exchange of letters which will last until she dies .'' And the two lovers must be very cautious to keep their masks . To tell loving words or political secrets, they use a code . The technic of code letters works since the Antiquity . Each letter must be translated one by one . When it is really secret, they use chemicals to write with invisible ink.
