  • any tips on how to record a goos drum video

  • you scared me at 4:28

  • epic head.. epic cover (Y)

  • You should do some Asking Alexandria or A Day To Remember

  • Fact. Mike Portenoy didn't write OR record this song. But this is the only one he didn't record on the album. Just saying.

  • @Sargeofj00 No actually ALL of the songs are Recorded by Mike Portnoy. No he did not write the song, He was recorded in the album for doing all of the songs. He actually even won a Golden God Award for Best Drummer this year for the entire Album.

  • Did you use double peddles dude?

  • @woofYization there is a double pedal there. So, yes.

  • My dream is to once be as good as u :)

  • @TrienProductions wow thanks man!

  • again, sweet drumming man. liking it. i'm sure your sick of these questions, but would be awesome of you could let me know how loud are the actual drums when turned off (or headphones plugged in) - as they are real drum heads are they as loud? and what about the bass drum? I live in a block of flats so sounds is an issue. otherwise this kit looks pretty good.

  • @Childrenofbodom7 Its actually pretty loud with the heads that come with the Set. Even the bass drum. If your looking for sound reduction I would try and go with the Roland TD-4k2. They are definitely the quietest for inside practicing. Hope that helps!

  • @Childrenofbodom7 In addition to what goblin said, yes the rolands are quieter but also more expensive. You can buy mesh heads to convert this kit and it has eally good feel and is really quiet aswell. Look it up on youtube. To reduce the sound of the bass you could also buy a bass pedal impact pad which are really cheap anyway. Hope this helps

  • It's your f******* nightmare lol

  • Thanks for the upload. I've been looking into this kit for a while now and every post like this really helps.

  • please answer does this drum set have rim shots

  • @TheRicky2277 yes the drums all have dual zone triggers. So when you hit the shell or even the rim it will trigger the other sound. Hope that helps

  • Love your drum face, excellent ! Keep posting.

  • Not a huge fan of the band but killer drumming man. Do you recommend this over the Yahama DTX500k or the Roland TDK4?

  • Nice job man sounds good! I have a question if you wouldn't mind answering it the question is how do i record the song and drums together on the computer or even a drumless track cause i and so lost! i have only been playing drums for about 6 months so i have no idea how to do so! Thanks!

  • How do you record via Audacity? I've been trying to do the same with my DTX Yamaha but cant record the sound. All I get is the pad sound you get when you play without them being on.

Appreciate if you or anyone could help me.

    Keep rocking!

  • great job!but i have a question...how do you record an such good quality on your computer?

  • @gheremezul Eh, its not the best but I use Audacity to record with line in to the computer. I just play along with the mp3 version of the song in Audacity as well and edit the sound so its not to loud or quite.

  • 2:47 he's like "I WANT YOU"

  • what drums are these

  • @PS3GamesProductions Alesis DM10 Pro

  • @goblinondrums İts pro or Studio?

  • Hello goblinondrums, I would greatly appreciate some feedback concerning something about the layout of your kit. The snare and stand you have I have noticed are not part of the original kit, where did you get the snare stand and tom? thanks

  • too awesome!!!! looks like you really did what mr mike portnoy did on its studio version... congrats bro!!!!

  • Dude awesome cover. I have the same the same kit and i plan to put some covers on my channel so i was wondering how you record it please. Thanks for any help you can give me.

  • @vg4life9616 I have the Main out hook up to my computer as Line in. I use the software program Audacity to record. I import the mp3 file to Audacity and record while playing along and listening. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching

  • I meant to say sound quality?

  • What things can you tell me on the sounds because i want them (black look) for x-mas?

  • @yeyodrummer1 Not really the best but definitely better then a cheaper kit. Couldn't really compare it to anything rather then it sounds better than a TR-808.

  • Hey I'm just curious... is the ride triple or dual zone? Can you crash on the ride as well?

  • @drumgroovy Its just a dual zone. You can hit the rim of the cymbal though and it produces a kind of crash ride sound. Nothing fancy though.

  • @goblinondrums But doesn't that mean it's a triple zone? Edge, ride and bell?

  • @drumgroovy oops yeah lol it is a triple zone. ma bad... :p

  • @goblinondrums No problem man. Nice cover btw.

  • This cover is awesome! Good job!

  • @Melobione1 Thanks man!

  • Great play and excellent sound! I have also this DM10 kit but have never had such great sounds on it. Would it be possible for you to tell me which sounds and mainly presets did you use on your kit? Many thanks in advance. Denis

  • @dbelacik Not really sure that I remember. Sorry it took me so long to respond, super slammed from work and not having time to check on the settings that I did. I'll have to let you know as soon as I can.

  • Hey Man :D how much did your Kit Cost ?

Thinking of getting one for X-mas .

  • @DrD3ATH02z Right now I believe this kit has been upgraded from when I bought it. Its the Alesis DM-10 Studio kit. I paid around 800 for mine. Not sure what they are going for. But I would try and get the upgraded version if there is one. Thanks for watching!

  • @goblinondrums I forgot to say ?

Great Video :D and Does it Come with the Double bass ?

  • @DrD3ATH02z no I have my own double bass pedal. Its the Pearl Eliminator 2000C? its been awhile since I've looked it up, but was worth keeping. Good luck!

  • @goblinondrums Thanks man :D !

  • @goblinondrums haha, that's soo ironic because I was honestly just looking at drum kits and came across that one and was like "i would like that" lmao. I asked my mom if it could be my Christmas and Birthday Present for the next 2 years and she flipped out at me sating that she can't believe I even asked her it :( I guess it's a no lol

  • Awesome play! I wanna buy this set too...

  • Nice are those beyerdynamics???

  • @Togagiga Yeah actually they are. I think they are from early 2000, my cousin used to have a recording studio and had those, after he passed i was given them. Good Eye! Thanks for watching!

  • เสียงกลองดังๆ หน่อยเพ่

  • Scary o.O

  • Good job! Would you please watch mine and tell how i can improve on my double bass drum?

  • That looks so scary 4:28 ... :D But great job!! You had to make Unholy Confenssion cover! :)

  • Amazing! I'm not into this kind of music, but I love your playing... keep up the great work :)

  • @jolie1957 Thanks!

  • Nice work man.....i personally hate alesis drum...but you dou a nice job!!

  • @indigotheprophecy lol me too, really want the Roland TD-20. Thanks man for the comment!

  • You have talent bro.... Keep making those vids, theyre amazing!!

  • @pitriplex I definitely will! Thanks for watching!

  • hey man AWESOME cover!!!...subbing for sure!!! what I wanted to ask is are you using another drumming software aswell for your covers or just the standard through the module??

    thanks in advance

    AWESOME cover once again :D

  • @jrs1549 yhyh the rev wrote it like just because portnoy was hisfavoret drummer and they had no one who could do the drums to his standard other than portnoy they showed portnoy what jimmy written andhe learnted it and recorded it for them however he obvs didnt make up so far away and other bonus tracks like that but great vid an been thinking of getting this kit for christmas carnt play my acousic because of noise :/ anywayhope tosee more sevenfold cover :)

  • I like that look back at the end LOL! gets me everytime... =)

  • what headset r u using?

  • hope everyone knows mike portnoy didnt write this he just recorded itr because the rev died days before the recorded

  • @SuperMoorey1 REALLY... i did not know that. that is really informative, cuz i thought that when portnoy joined the band he wrote along with the album and tried to write in memory of the rev. so like in the chorus with the bell rhythms and the double bass, i love that, i REALLY love that, and i thought portnoy was playing like the rev would play cuz the rev did a lot of that especially in waking the fallen. ill take your word for it. btw this is a great video, you nailed it.

  • you do some seriously awesome covers :) what program do you use to record the kit on your pc?

  • awesome

  • You deserve much more subs and views!!

    Because of you I bought also a dm10 :)

  • @wardaddy99 wow thanks man! really appreciate it! Can't wait to see some vids of yours!

  • nice cover dude, how do you changed the head ? just bought an mesh head ? or do you did some mod ?
