@Gooey47 I would say so. I keep mine at home all the time, and take my Peavey to band practice since its louder and I dont have it micd. But I play with this at home and have a great time discovering all of the possibilities with it. So yes, it would be.
@StandardManCovers alright thanks. i played it at the guitar store today pretty nice i just couldnt find a setting with good treble and distortion but i'll prolly find one when i buy it
@Gooey47 Hi man I've got the G-DEC Junior too :) I'm thinking about buying this and seeing as though it has been 5 months since you have made this comment i am assuming that you may or may not have bought this by now. If you have it was it a good upgrade?
@RiteLightFilms Yeah it was a good buy. I play in a band and our drummer is VERY loud so i'm thinking of getting a bigger amp haha. But its very nice but if you play in a band with a loud drummer you might want to look else where but great for a pratice amp!
@TheGooeyOne28 Yeah the drummer in my band is pretty loud too lol :) But to be honest I want a good practice amp. Out of interest have you been on a Roland Cube 30x, Line 6 Spider 4 or Peavey Vypyr, if so would you choose it over the VOX? Because I really can't make my mind up lol
@GregHM81 Good. So if I buy a distortion pedal and some delay would it sound better?? I have a good guitar and I want to see how good it sounds, that's why i'm asking, thank you
@GregHM81 Yes, 11 built in effects plus reverb. And the effects are actually pretty nice. I have no experience with the Peavey Viper, but my Classic 30 is my main amp and I would say its a little bit better than the vox. But not too much. I would definitely buy the Vox
sounds nice, do you know how much you can get one for? i was thinking of getting one with an epiphone riviera, and getting some mean distortion outta it :P
hey i'm upgrading from my fender gdec jr so will this be a good buy?

Hey this amps sounds too digital?
GregHM81 1 year ago
@GregHM81 No. Not at all. It is about as close to tube sound as it gets without being a tube amp.

@StandardManCovers So it has built-in effects? That's cool, maybe I'll buy this one, but which one is better, the VT30 or the Peavey Vypyr 30??
